I got estimates for two unrelated repairs, the work was scheduled a few weeks out, and I'd planned to pay out-of-pocket. When I arrived, Nathan said it would take about 3 weeks, which he didn't tell me at the estimate, nor did Tammy when I scheduled the work. This was only the second time in my life I've had to get a car repaired and the first time getting body work. I didn't know to ask about what I didn't know, so that's partially on me, but also on them for not explaining how everything works and making sure their customer has appropriate expectations.Because I would have to get a rental, I decided to file an insurance claim instead, since a rental would push my out of pocket costs past my deductible. However, I had two different repairs and only filed a claim for one since the other would have been a separate claim way less than the deductible. I explicitly told Nathan I still wanted both repairs done but that he would only hear from insurance about one of them.When I went to pick up my car an entire month later, only the insurance-covered repair was done. Rather than apologize and acknowledge he made a mistake, Nathan insisted that I told him to wait on the other repair, which was completely false, as it was the repair I was most excited about being fixed and I made it a specific point to tell him I wanted both repairs done because I knew the insurance thing might be confusing. Besides, I was originally going to pay all of it out-of-pocket and ended up paying less because I went partially through insurance, so there's no reason I would put off one repair.Instead of providing good customer service to someone clearly confused and disappointed by the error after waiting so long to get my car back, Nathan simply kept repeating that he "had no documentation saying the other work was to be done" - except that he absolutely did: the estimate and the work listed on the schedule. The only thing that changed was how the work would be paid for, so there's no excuse for not doing it. A phone call was enough to confirm the work the first time, so a phone call should have been enough to re-confirm the same work. If he needed me to submit documentation about the payment change and confirmation of work to be done, he should have told me to submit something in writing.Nathan simply made a huge mistake and not only failed to own up to it, but blamed me. Additionally, neither of the other two people in the room bothered to step in to make amends. If anyone had, I may have worked with them to get the other repair done, because we are all human and mistakes happen. Instead, I'll be going elsewhere and hope I get better customer service, because that's what creates loyalty and good reviews.But perhaps they don't need repeat customers or referrals, so perhaps they have no incentive to create a good experience. It's too bad, because the work itself is beautiful and they even detailed the inside of my car, which I wasn't expecting. So huge kudos to the labor team. I wish I could say the same for the admin team, and I hope they treat the labor team better than they treated me.I would recommend anyone looking for a body shop look elsewhere or at least go in knowing that you may not get very good service and to be excessively on top of making sure they do exactly what you asked for.

I hit a deer in the right front quarter panel and headlight area and they did an excellent job of repairing it. Noticed that they vacuumed and wiped down the front dash, console and pretty sure they cleaned the windows, I really appreciated that. Would definitely recommend.

My driver’s side door and panel behind the door needed to be replaced. The workmanship was superior! The entire staff is friendly and attentive. They worked extra hard so that I could get my car two days ahead of time. The car was thoroughly cleaned before I picked it up, which was a real treat. Perfect. Best body shop we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Our vehicle was repaired in great time and looks brand new! Had a wonderful experience with Padgett's (fixing front/side panel and fender damage from getting too close and personal with a concrete corner). Ed gave me my original estimate and handled my case. The cost came in right at estimate, and I was relief to find a place that felt honest and reliable throughout the process! I've recommended Padgett's many times already to others needing body work.
