Probably one of my best experiences at REI. I needed specific help because I have a trail coming up with a lot of elevation gain. The first lady I talked to got me to the experienced person that I needed to talk to right away. He asked if I was using hiking poles and I knew we were off to a good start. I started using them a few years ago. He was able to offer suggestions about energy bars and endurance fuel based upon what him and his wife had used. It was exactly the help I needed.

Fantastic. I love REI. I have had incredibly great service, especially at the Chattanooga store. I bought a $400 Osprey Atmos 65 and beat it up on the Appalachian Trail. I didn't love it because of the weight so I decided to take it back and see if they'd give me $50 for it. They refunded the entire price! Thank you, REI!

One of our favorite places to shop! Great quality casual clothes. Outdoor gear. Many of our best adventures have started with supplies from REI! And the cash back credits are a fun surprise sometimes as well.

This is the worst store I've been in. Don't even bother trying to make a return here. They refused the return of a pair of shoes that fell apart completely within a month. No crazy use, just everyday walking. They argued that I was a ultra runner (even though I don't run at all) and that it was normal wear and tear. Meanest lady works there, truly disgusting customer service. After this experience I stopped all purchases from REI, canceled my membership, and will now boycott this store forever. REI has been ruined, what a disgrace.

REI is the best outdoor shop ever! Every thing in the store is about enjoying and appreciating the outdoors and environment unlike the “Sportsman” type stores that are all about hunting and killing stuff. How is that a sport?

I love that this location stocks plus size clothing (although mainly in the REI brand). The store is always really clean and organized. From the handful of employees I’ve dealt with, everyone was upbeat and easy to communicate with.
