This is a place to hang your head for the night, and for me, thats all I needed. There are no bells or whistles, no free breakfast, or anything of that nature. I will say the fitness room was of the better ones I have seen in hotels of this class.
The room I stayed in was standard size, with a microwave and fridge. The AC blew cold, and the bed was fairly comfortable though the pillows were a bit to flat for my liking. One negative to note is the wallpaper was peeling away next to the shower which allowed mold to grow. There is also, for some strange reason, a print painting inside a metal frame, mounted in the bathroom which also had a bit of mold blooming around. This wasn't a very big deal for me but for others sensitive to it, this is something to be aware of.
There are really great restaurants and coffee shops (Starbucks) within walking distance, shopping nearby, and right off I-75 for easy access to the rest of Chattanooga.
All in all, as noted at the start, it's a place to rest after a long day trekking the mountains and shopping before doing it all again the next day.

Talk about a great stay! The rooms were a great size, the whole hotel very clean, and each room had a sliding glass door either opening into the central area (where the pool is located) or to the parking areas. We stayed for a business trip and I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Sonesta hotel, this having been my first time staying at one of their locations. The staff was quite helpful, even providing a few suggestions for activities in the area. My ONLY complaint is that they don't provide a complimentary continental breakfast, but with the great location, multiple breakfast options are a short trip away. Plenty of businesses, restaurants, and things to do within a 5 minute car ride, just off of the interstate. Despite the proximity to I-75, once you're in your room the outside world melts away and it's quiet. I rather enjoyed the curved couch with ottoman and the television that swivels for easy viewing from either the couch or bed. If I'm ever in this area again, I'll stay at this hotel again!

I travel often and based on the reviews booked this at a very reasonable rate. However, it did not meet my standards for a clean hotel, there were cockroaches in the lobby, stains on the carpet and curtains in the room. The smell was unpleasant. When we checked in after a 10 hour drive around 11pm, we tried to enter our room and it was occupied! They gave us a different room and the key didnt work. Once we got in the room and realized how gross it was we immediately booked a hotel elsewhere and left. I do not recommend this hotel, I am not sure how they claim to be a 3 star hotel.

The hotel experience was pleasant for the three days I stayed until it was time for check-out. The manager randomly and falsely accused me and my guest of YELLOW STAINED pillows getting taken out of the room. The staff and manager, Olivia, handled the whole baseless accusation inappropriately and no evidence or explanation could be provided to me. There are plenty of establishments you can choose from other than here if you don’t want to be conned out of your money from the employees.

Cynthia assisted us for breakfast and got our day off to the greatest start. She is such a delight to talk to and we will definitely come back to see her! We enjoyed talking with her while enjoying our breakfast and hope to see her again soon!!

My hotel room was dirty, when I first arrived my sink was stopped up. The treadmills in the workout room were nasty, there were no spray bottles to disinfect the machines.

This hotel is outdated and be careful with them as they will not give you your money back for a “hold”. There general manager does not response to customer emails and on the phone they were so nasty even hung up on me stay somewhere else. I was there for business 4 weeks ago and just got a emailed receipt after being yelled at and hung up on. They were very nasty. Not a good stay at all considering the entire place needs to be upgraded. Only good this is that it’s right by Hamilton place mall nothing else. Stay else where if you can.

Room was nice seemed clean enough. Nice had bedroom sliding doors so can access for unpacking. Was aware from reviews no elevator but we were on 1st floor. Read breakfast cafe was 10.00 each thinking more options. Turns out ala a cart mostly yogurt, muffins cereal and sandwich then turns out 13.00 each. We could go somewhere for that. Feel sorry for families having to face this .Will give the lady Serving breakfast 5 stars for working to death having to repeat options and wait on everyone. No help. No menu .
I gave 2 stars because location everything close by and bed was wonderful
Room was clean. Note if on 1st floor everyone above you sounds like herd of elephants walking lolololo.

Sherry was an absolute angel. I was driving a fire truck through the area and she was able to accommodate me and couldn’t have been more welcoming and professional. Rooms were clean and hotel is in a great location just off the highway. I will definitely be staying again. Thanks Sherry!

BREAKFAST: No menu is posted anywhere so the poor lady at the counter has to take the time to explain everything they have to each customer. The lady is nice, but we felt bad having to ask a lot of questions of what counts as an entree, side etc because again, there's no signage literally anywhere of what they have or what they charge. They don't have any gluten free bread options for the breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches are $13 for just microwaved bacon and a pre cooked egg patty. The breakfast is not worth waking up for, paying for, or even waiting for! The lady was very sweet and kind though.
SAFETY: We had a late check in, and there was 5 cop cars at the entrance. 1 security guard was walking around the parking lot looking around and into cars. We asked the lady at the front desk what was going on, and she couldn't tell us. Which I understand, but 5 cop cars is definitely more than enough to be slightly worried and there was no reassurance everything was OK.
NO ELEVATOR so pack light if you can. The staircase is small so it's hard to get up and down easily in terms of space if there's other people in the stairwell. All in all, it wasn't a bad stay, but it most definitely was just an odd experience overall.
