Oh man, let me tell you about the kitchen cabinet delivery that turned into an Olympic-worthy performance! Yesterday, we had a semi roll up with our brand-new cabinets, but plot twist: our long, hilly, quarter-mile round trip driveway said, “Not today, big rig!”

No problem for Ben, the delivery driver turned superhero. This guy grabbed a hand cart, loaded it up (three times!!) with pallets of cabinets—stacked higher than my dreams of a perfect kitchen—and hauled them down our driveway like he was auditioning for the World’s Strongest Man.

Now, picture this: a quarter-mile round trip, a steep hill, and a pallet so heavy it probably weighed more than my entire recipe collection (and I’ve got a lot of cookbooks). Ben didn’t just deliver; he conquered that driveway like it was his personal Everest, making sure those cabinets didn’t go full rollercoaster down the slope. Then, he dragged that cart back up the hill for two more rounds. Talk about a workout! I’m pretty sure he deserves a medal, a protein shake, and maybe a cape.

This delivery was next-level, and I’m over-the-moon thrilled with how it went. Ben went so far above and beyond. This gentleman went above the call of duty. I work at a global retail chain. I was assisting a customer in getting home via The CARTA Shuttle that evening (a little after 6pm). When Mr. McDuffy arrived, he had an additional passenger that he was unaware of. Instead of one passenger in a wheelchair, he had 2 passengers in wheelchairs. Loading these passengers was not an easy task. It was very difficult and time consuming. However, Mr. McDuffy completed the difficult task with the passengers dignity in tact, and nobody getting hurt. He wouldn't allow me to help because of liability reasons. I just wanted to let CARTA know that his performance was exemplary and admirable. I also wanted to say, one more time, THANK YOU, Jimmy McDuffy; For being the kind of person we should all aspire to be. You're awesome! Keep being a great, contributing member of this community.
