People were waiting over 40 minutes in the pharmacy line. Someone was very nice and let me in front of them so I could buy in someone needles when the pharmacist told me I could not purchase insulin needles unless I had a prescription for insulin. There’s legally no prescription needed to buy needles. I went over to Walmart. They sold me needles.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. It's not that the lines are always long or they never answer the phone it's the pharmacist who is rude. I went to the emergency room due to a fall and I have dibitating avascular necrous and the ER wrote pain medicine and sent it there because it was the only 24 hour pharmacy open. I was told that because my primary doctor writes my pain medicine that she would have to call the next day to approve the stronger pain medicine wrote by the ER doctor. I did and my primary doctor approved it. I went to pick it up and was told that my primary doctor did not call. I had the pharmacist call the after hours number and they told him she did approve it. The pharmacist then called the ER and the doctor I had seen the night before was not working at that time and the pharmacist said the ER told him to delete the prescription and not fill it. I then called the ER and advised them of what I was being told by the pharmacist and the ER said they did not tell the pharmacist that and to go back into the pharmacy and have the pharmacist call them back at the ER. I did and they told them to fill it. The pharmacist did fill it but was not happy about it. Once it was filled instead of handing it to me and saying here you go or thank you he literally threw the prescription at me and walked away! I know there's laws about pain medicine and drug seeker's out there but I am not one of them and I do have a dibitating avascular necrous that got worse due to my fall. And the fact that my primary doctor and the ER doctor approved the pain medicine every thing was legal so this should not have happened. I called Walgreens corporate and filed a complaint against this pharmacist and he is going to be investigated. I was not the only customer in there that day having issues. I overheard the drive through pharmacy tech yelling at someone in the drive through and being rude to that customer and rolling her eyes at them. Whatever you do, do not use this pharmacy. Customers are already in pain and are sick and frustrated going in and it is absolutely not right that the workers make us even more frustrated!

Friendly staff, pharmacy opened 24 hours. Drive thru is very busy almost every time I have to pick up my meds. I always go inside, which is what I prefer anyways.

Pharmacy picked up the phone at 8:30 and hung up. I called back thinking it was a mistake but they had changed the message to the pharmacy is closed. This is a 24 hour pharmacy that only closed for meal breaks. 8:30 at night is not mid shift. They just dont want to answer the phone. Thats fine there is a CVS closer to my house.

Pharmacist refuses to give a flu shot at 9:30pm - nowhere is this advertised. There were two staff members in there. Would have taken less than 5 minutes. Literally refused and then righteously dared me to post this review because she believed it would have no consequences on her or her company. Pretty sure someone in leadership would like to know that the pharmacists aren’t showing up as team players. I drove 45 minutes here and would have made different plans if I had known my vaccination needs were not a priority for this store.

Me and my significant other have been STRUGGLING for months trying to prior authorization In order to get her prescription filled here for necessary and diabetic supplies. Every time we came in we were told that it was not properly filled by insurance. We found out that it was a complete lie (most likely the staff covering for the pharmacist to give them time to refile for it). They used to cover up for the head pharmacist who never sent in for prior authorization. Thank you for being incompetent in delaying our ability to get our necessary medical equipment. I have no ill will towards the regular workers here. They have no control over that and that was the head pharmacist mistake.

I travel a lot and use Walgreens across the US. The people working in this pharmacy are the best, most helpful people I’ve encountered. Thank you for trying to help me.

Stopped by for my RSV and T-dap vaccinations. I had made an appointment and filled out paperwork online so the check in process was completed quickly. Dr Bhavin was organized and quick and the shots were practically painless !! Thank you all for the great care you take of all your customers here at the Walgreens on Gunbarrel.
