I will never rent from Avis ever again and I will make sure to always put them in a negative light they are nothing but liars and thieves and I will make sure everyone knows and I will never suggest people to rent from them and I will always have a bad review for them ever where I can make one ??

AVOID THIS AVIS!1) Got a vehicle that was saying it needed an oil change, more fluid, and had a check engine light on when I picked it up.2) When I got it, the agreement was that anything they couldn’t vacuum out would charge UP TO $250. When I returned it they glanced in the car and said they’re charging the full amount unless I vacuum out it out myself.The other Avis locations I’ve been to in other states tend to be good and don’t try to rip you off like this. I returned it in as good a condition and as clean or cleaner than all of the other cars I returned to past Avis companies.

This is a wonderful family business. James helped me at the front desk and went beyond my expectations today. Yes, I read the negative reviews and was prepared for the worst. I would like to point out that they are closed on the weekends. When booking online, you can’t accidentally book a pick up or return on a weekend day. On the front door to the establishment, hours are posted there as well. And lastly, they will tell you that over the phone if you are trying to get a rental. That being said, I am not sure why or how anyone would be confused about this. Anyway, when I arrived to pick up my car, James was with another customer. So right away I was able to see him in action. He was training another employee, answering the phone, and taking care of customers in a very professional and polite way. As soon as he got to me, I was treated with the same outstanding service. I’m glad I didn’t need to post a negative review!

I wish I can give zero stars because the guy at the counter acts like he don't wanna help people, including me, acts like he hates his job, call the 800 number even if you have leaks & also somehow I keep getting charged for no reason after the fact no one sees where I was charged. I am thinking I am going to a another car rental service place.I experience a bad experience here. : (

I reserved the car the day before, the day of they call me and tell me they don’t have any cars available. That’s it. They don’t offer any other info. I call corporate and they tell me the nearest location with cars is the airport which is about 35 miles away. That jumped my Lyft ride from $15 to $60. I ask if they can at least give me an upgrade or something and I’m basically told to f&$@ off. This is my first time and last time renting from Avis. Since we all live in a world of receipts as proof my res number is 31141212US4. Plus it cost me an additional $80 because they raised the price on me.

I wish I could give 0 stars but no chance. I could not replace the car for another since the engine light was on. They said take to Good Year for oil change they didnt know how to charge Avis even when they called the 800 number it would get disconnected.. the car was over by 2,180 miles over so i had to go to Walmart and they couldnt remove the filter so it was rejected. I then had to go across the Street at Valvaline Quick change and charged $94 dollars. I had to have it changed because i had another trip of over 300 miles. Avis your service is beyond words. You cost me money and time do you know FY???

We rented a car for 10 days from Avis, and our experience was perfect! Nicole at Avis explained everything well, and provided us with exactly the car we needed for our road trip. There's not an after hours option to return your car, so be prepared to return it during normal business hours.

Very Bad service and dishonest people. I specifically called to ask whether they would rent to a 24 yr. old. They said they would but when my son called. They said he had to be 25 yrs old and all they had was a mini van. The person I talked to over the phone was very rude.
