I have a dog that had some medical problems when he was a puppy. I currently see a vet who’s worked with me and ran all the tests to see what was wrong with him. But unfortunately he was a mystery case and we didn’t get much answers.I saw an AD on Facebook saying Banfield was having an offer for your dog to come in for a free physical. I thought this meant I could make an appointment for free and bring my dog in for a physical. I thought this would be a great opportunity to communicate with a new vet about my dog and see if it’d be a good fit for future appointments. However the called me the day before my appointment asking if I could drop him off. I told them I wanted to be present for the appointment and explained why. They had me reschedule the appointment to January 7th. On January 4th someone from the office gave me a call to remind me of my appointment on Sunday. I told them that I wanted to be in the room while they completed the physical. Because I had some questions. She said not a problem and said somebody would call me back the day before.Friday, January 5 I called to see if I could bring my other dog in for physical and make it one appointment. I was told there is no way they could do that because they just didn’t have enough time. She asked If I was sure that my appointment was on Sunday because she couldn’t find It under my phone number. She said there’s no way we’re going to be able to do this appointment this day we will have to reschedule.. She doesn’t have a doctor in the office that’s able to perform what I’m asking for. I told her all I wanna do is come in for the free physical, but I want to be present in the room so that I can talk to them about him and his quirks. She told me she would have to reschedule me to February 22. By then I will be already getting ready to move to a different state so I Just said, forget it. If you’re gonna offer a free physical, you should be clear on your intentions. Some people are gonna think that they’re going into an office with the doctor who’s going to perform a physical on their pet. However, They want you to drop the dog off so they can hold them in the back of the facility until they’re able to perform a physical and then call you when they’re done.

I will never recommend this clinic to anybody. I used to work in the grooming salon next door so I knew everyone there on a personal level. When my senior dog passed away I went to them for a private cremation since I knew everyone there I assumed everything would be fine. I couldn't be more wrong... Due to the staffing not communicating properly with each other, my dog got mislabeled and put for a mass cremation and discarded with all the other dogs and cats that they were mass cremating. All they offered me was an apology and a refund, I didn't care about the refund I wanted my dog and she was just discarded like garbage. I now work for a vet clinic and I have no idea how something like this happened. So be warned.

Brought my dog in for neck pain, trouble walking and a head tremor. After Xrays and exam I was told by the vet that he was "being dramatic over an ear infection". Even with the stupid Wellness Plan, I had to pay over $600. He got worse last week and I took him to an emergencey vet. Immediatley the vet knew something was seriosuly wrong. After an MRI, they found he had a large herniated disk in his neck and needed immediate surgery. I called Banfield and canceled all my pets appointments and they didn't even seem to care about the reason. Now they refuse to cancel the Wellness plan..I can either pay the $479 they say is the "discount" I got for his (pathetic) care or I can continue to pay the $68.57 a month for the next 6 months until the renewal and cancel then. We also took our cats in for simple vaccine updates; they told us we would need to bring the one cat back for "boosters" and couldn't even vaccinate the other because he was "angry". Both cats have been cared for perfectly well at our previous vet and only ever needed the one visit for shots. Very unprofessional and obviously trying to milk as much money out of people as possible.

I have been calling this office since Monday unable to speak to a human or leave a vm because the vm box is full. I cannot get through and need a simple ask completed to assist with documentation requirements for a major move. However, I cannot reach anyone reminding me why we stopped using Banfield.

Our GSD was having hip problems with no feeling to one leg. Could not walk or eat. Clearly a medical emergency..My wife arrived with our girl. After waiting was told there is nothing they could do. They didnt even get my girl out of the car to look at her... they just came up to the car . My wife was also told they had 5 dental cleanings before they could look at our poor girl and willing to keep her caged untill they get around to her.. Then they told my wife it would be better to just take her somewhere else.. NEVER TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE unless your just getting grooming done.. becuase thats clearly a priority at this place.. Absolute trash.. This this is now personal. No way this is the only poor experience..

Banfield Pet Hospital has proven to be an excellent choice for our beloved furry family members. Their staff is not only easy to work with but also remarkably helpful. The comprehensive pet plan they offer substantially eases the financial aspect of pet care. Both my dog, Oliver, and cat, Ravon, have received top-notch care, leaving me thoroughly satisfied with the exceptional work they do.

We had a pup go here for a year or so but ended up changing to another vet because we felt like most of the people here were just here for a paycheck and not for the animals. I think in healthcare, you need to love what you do or find something else. Just being there for the 9-5 isn't a good fit for this industry not matter if it people or pets you're working on.

Had a frantic moment when my puppy was stung by a wasp. The staff and dr were friendly and fantastic . Also lots of information about emergency vet if we have an accident after hours.

No one was at the desk, the glass on the grooming area was glass painted over with frosted paint so I went behind the counter to get some attention because was only there to get my pet's toe nails trimmed, the girl came out and said to get out behind the counter which I thought was very rude, because I had just called and told her I be there in the next 10 minutes. We travel six months a year and visit pet smart at a lot of locations across the country.
