Family Pet Hospital and the Burchett’s are wonderful! We received a stray cat from friends in hoping that she would be a perfect lap cat for our son, who was paralyzed in a horrific vehicle accident. His cat he named Chewy, has been so perfect and precious in every way for him and our family. Truly a gift from Heaven. The Burchett’s took such amazing care to help us get her spay and vaccinated. We are so grateful and thankful! They are the best! ❤️ ??

My appointment was at 4pm. I wasn't checked in until 4:11 because I had to fill some new patient paperwork. Okay, fine. I waited until 4:40 when I was still waiting and informed them I had to get my son from daycare soon, and asked how much longer it would be. They said they weren't sure, I was up next. Whatever that means. They told me I could reschedule for another time - but what's the point!? They clearly don't work on a schedule, and they will take walk-ins before someone who has made an appointment (which is what I was made to believe). I wasted over an hour driving there, waiting, putting my doggo through hell (it was the most chaotic waiting area I've ever seen), only to not be seen by anyone!!! I will not be going back, and if you, like me, work on schedules I'd avoid this place.

So thankful for Candice Blake, DVM, her assistant and the support staff at the desk. Their concern, compassion and kindness for my failing, loving Mitzi and my family was commendable. Thank you all for your support.

Our boxer was spayed here and I found the staff to be very kind to me and my dog. I was super nervous about her having to stay over night but they made me feel at ease and wasn’t annoyed when I called to see how she was doing a couple of times. I picked her up today and she was a very happy girl. Thank you for taking care of her!

I will not return to Family Pet. I took my sick, adopted kitten in because she was sneezing and had diarrhea. They medicated her my first visit and she did not approve. We returned a week later with the same symptoms. The vet medicated her once again and told us we’d require an additional, costly test if it didn’t work. I called back approx a week later to let them know she was still sick. At this point, she was sneezing dark yuck and had the same diarrhea. The vet tech assur

My family has been bring our pets here for years, but recently there seems to be lack of communication and diagnosis. I had to bring my pet into an emergency clinic and they were able to give me a diagnosis in 2 hours after I was at Family Pet 2 days ago for 8 hours... if I would've waited my pet would've passed. This clinic is fine for vaccines and preventative medications, but if you need a diagnosis relatively quick I would not recommend.

Good vets but always so slow. You can guarantee a super long wait each and every time then they didn’t even have staffing for a nail trim. Had to take them to another vet

We highly recommend Family Pet Hospital. Our fur baby is a 15 year old senior with many older persons health issues. The staff is always accommodating, and we especially appreciate Dr. Blake’s patience and knowledge.

My first couple of visits here were pretty good. Everyone was nice and didn't have to wait long, until this most recent visit. Called last night to ask about walk ins and appointments for my cat and dog. Was told they were putting Sky (my cat) down for 3pm and Hershey (dog) would be a walk in for her shot. So I naturally rushed home because I work 45min away and get off at 2pm to get them ready and go to the vet only to get there, wait 45m and get told there are 4 walk ins in front of me and both of mine are walk ins. So WHY tell me the night before they would put me down for 3pm? I could have saved time, saved my animals a little anxiety and being kept in the car, if I would have been told up front they BOTH are walk ins. I could have planned it for a day my husband was off or a day I could have taken off work to be there first thing in the morning. Staff needs to be on the same page on what is a walk in and what isn't or let me schedule an appointment anyways so we don't have to wait who knows how long to get in. I asked for an appointment last night for a reason.
