DO NOT USE THE STORAGE COMPANY. My entire bedroom set was stolen out of my unit. All that was left behind was trash and boxes. I asked to have my last payment waived and they refused . I pay you all to make sure my items are safely secured , so why should I pay when your security is sorely lacking. If you are reading this Please consider another company. As you can see by the reviews, I am not the only one this has happened to and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was an inside job. Also Red dot , please don’t respond with some prewritten template expressing your fake concern when it’s obvious you don’t care about your customers. If you all cared to make things right, you would have done so when I contacted your customer service, not after you get called out with a public review.

If I could rate 0, I would. Absolutely horrendous experience with this specific location. My first unit was broken into within the first 2 weeks. After that, the unit door ended up fully breaking and became unable to shut or lock, leaving my items fully exposed overnight as they made arrangements. Red dot customer service told me they'd allow me to move my items to another unit, but the only unit available was the largest offered. Meanwhile, I had 10×10. I expressed that I couldn't afford one that large. They assured me the cost of storage would stay the same. Well, the renewal date came around, and my old unit wasn't fixed yet, so I got a bit fat bill of $190. They refused to work with me on the phone in any way to allow me to retrieve my items at the least. Of course, they make you pay them, even just to get your own stuff. So after a day of phone tag, I finally found some help and had gotten it paid. When we arrived at the unit after some heated phone calls with red dot, magically, my unit was ransacked and absolutely turned upside down. Weirdest things were taken like my anime figurines and cosplay wigs. Jewelery and such were left, hundreds of dollars of squishmellows, and more were left behind. But things were strewn everywhere, paintings I painted were damaged/ripped, glass items shattered, I can tell some things were stomped on. My clothes were thrown all over. It seemed very different from the first time they actually stole some valuable items. Everyone I talk to about this and report this to agrees its an inside job. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING ROBBBED. I kept this review waiting for a day to make sure I was 100% outta there so no more employees can retaliate. I can say firmly that I hate this entire company and what it stands for.

I unfortunately had the inconvenience of getting my storage broken into but Claude- a Red Dot Storage Representative was very helpful! So nice calmed me down when I was furious. he deserves a raise, very good at his job!

Do not use this storage facility! I thought given the location it is located at I could trust my belongings there for a couple weeks and literally within 2-3 days after getting the storage unit and putting my things in it, it was broken into. Police report was made. They claim they have cameras and was told by two separate employees(Denise was the name of one and I can’t remember the other name) that the cameras work, yet the insurance company that is used by Red Dot Storage said they were told that Red Storage did not have footage available. Why? Probably because it was an inside job. Also the storage facility’s insurance company wanted proof of break in. Damaged door or cut lock. Conveniently neither could be seen. My unit was also not visible from the road. Maybe once or twice I saw someone in there when I had been putting things in my unit. No one else’s was broken into. So until I could move my belongings out I went by the storage facility few times a day to check on my unit. While doing so on numerous occasions the secured gate was left wide open and I had to call more than once to have someone remotely close gate. I also saw suspicious activity with two vehicles while I was there checking on my unit and also had called the facility to make them aware. Most things are replaceable. However there were baby items and things from my mom who passed away recently that are not replaceable. And were probably seen as trash to the people who broke in and these are things I will never get back. Please think twice before using this facility, pay extra at a better facility and know your unit is safe.ETA: I can’t reply back to your reply but no you are not working with anyone regarding my break in. I talked to Denise, a Red Dot Storage employee two hours ago today and she had to put me on hold to verify cameras worked at this location and then put me back on hold to try and reach someone to see how long footage is stored. She was unable to reach anyone and told me she would call me back. Again, it’s been two hours and I have not heard back.

Pretty nice storage place especially for the price. My only complaint is that I had a bit of a hard time driving a uhaul through there, the alleys are pretty tight for a truck, but if you bring an SUV or pickup there should be no problem at all.

Red dot storage is by far the best place to get your units. Being new at this, red dot was my first place to get a unit . They are very helpful and explained the steps to me. They are patient and very respectful.And I would like to thank them for their help. Thank you Sherrie.

Should not have to wait 1 week later for mgt to check to see that you have moved out of the unit. They don't have garbage bin on site.

I’ve had a unit at their facility for 4yrs and our bill has gradually went up over the years. It started at $66 and we are currently paying $86 now. We just received an email that it will now increase by $70!!!! We seriously thought that must be a typo, Nope!!! I called it’s actually going up $70!!! Almost doubling my bill!!! I understand that prices will go up over time but this is just ridiculous.

Prices keep going up and their entry gate kept breaking so random people can come in and get into the units and steal your valuables, so we left the complex

My initial experience with this company started with the kiosk locking up during payment and me standing in a container for 45 mins hoping it would fix itself while trying to reach customer service and being on hold the whole time. I finally reached a agent and was able to rent my unit. However I was double charged and was offered a credit instead of the refund I requested. This whole endeavor took several hours. After a 2-3 months my rates were raised 4.00 each and I was informed via email 30 days prior. I wasn't happy but the agent I spoke with advised it was normal and my rates will go up every few months or so, but assured me never more then a few bucks at a time. Well I just received one of their emails advising they would be raising my rates again however this time they are more then doubling them. So much for raising my rates a few dollars at a time. This company is crooked they lie, scheme, and don't seem to care one bit. Use at your own risk.New Update: After receiving the response to my review, I tried contacting red dot as advised. I explained my experience and the agent said there was nothing they would do that regardless of the expectation their agent had set they would be doubling my rate starting the next billing date. And the agent laughed when I stated what poor customer service he was providing. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Furthermore if red dot wants to make things right they would contact me instead of asking me to contact them. I have gone beyond what a customer should have to deal with and I have been a ideal customer who pays on time and in full every month. Shame on you red dot.
