This post office is garbage and a mess. We had a hold on our mail because we thought it was getting stolen. Come to find out our forward had expired. We’ve been in this post office numerous times yet no one told us that. Package was returned because of it. Employees are abrasive, condescending and rude. I’ll ship everything important through someone else now on. It’s ridiculous. All this extra work for nothing when someone could of told us our forward address expired.

This post office needs to be REPORTED. Husband was just in there, as it said our package was out for delivery, then got rescanned for located at post office. So he went in there to get the package. He got yelled at, said the tracking was lying, as it wasn't showing on their end, and was demanded to wait at home for the package. It was a woman behind the desk. We have NOT been getting our mail since we moved to the area, on days it was supposed to be delivered. This post office is awful, and needs investigated. Will be filing a report with the Head master in DC.

I'm lucky if I even get a package delivered to my house if it doesn't fit in the mailbox the mail person considers it undeliverable and then I have to go to the Post Office to go pick up my package because they couldn't deliver it that makes no sense if I was able to request my mail be sent through UPS or FedEx I would definitely do that because at least they can deliver my packages to my house

As a resident of Clarksville, TN, I recently visited this local post office and unfortunately once again had an extremely disappointing experience. The first issue I encountered was the severe understaffing, resulting in long queues and extended wait times. It was evident that the one employee present was overwhelmed and unable to provide efficient service. Moreover, the level of service provided was subpar, with staff members appearing indifferent and uninterested in assisting customers. Requests for information or assistance were met with apathy, further exacerbating the frustration of customers. In addition to the staffing issues, the post office was poorly stocked, lacking essential supplies and materials.Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the premises was appalling, with dirty floors, cluttered counters, and unkempt facilities. This lack of cleanliness not only reflects poorly on the establishment but also raises concerns about hygiene and sanitation standards. In conclusion, the post office in Clarksville, TN, falls far short of meeting the basic expectations of its customers. With chronic understaffing, poor service, unstocked supplies, and filthy conditions, it is undoubtedly one of the worst post office experiences one could encounter in the area. As a service provider, significant improvements are urgently needed to enhance the customer experience and restore confidence in the postal service within the community. It’s a no wonder why the U.S Post Office is failing

Slowest post office on earth. The wait time is insanely ridiculous no matter what you intend to do. Wish they had a kiosk for people like me that are trying to be in and out. I even got here a little while after they opened and the line was by the door. I’m not sure why they only have one employee working at the counter and so many working in the back like????

The worst post office I have ever been to. I have mail being held due to our mail person never delivering ours!! Went to the office to pick up mail that I know for a fact I have but yet no one can seem to find it!! My mother has a very important piece of mail she is waiting on!! I will go above their heads!! No reason why my mail shouldn't be at the post office when that's where I had it held due to no receiving it at home.

My wife and I have been missing our mail for months now! No help at all with this post office and they send en email to me saying it’s been resolved. They’ve also told me to make sure all my mail is being forwarded to our new address, which it has!!!!! I have complained to the Tennessee district for months and still nothing. Would give zero stars.

WORST POST OFFICE EXPERIENCE EVER! James the clerk here is an obscenely rude employee.. Instead of taking the time to educate and explain postage for a letter I was sending he was condescending and rude! I was trying to send some Christmas cards for an extension of a memoriam for my mom who passed this year (holidays are hard when someone passes and I wanted to send cards to friends and family for encouragement and well wishes) I brought them to the employee James whom I let know I wanted to send them via postage stamps if I was able to (they were legal size envelopes 8 1/2 ×11) he let me know because there was a "bump" in the envelope (because they are cards) that they couldn't go regular mail postage stamp because they wouldn't lay flat.. this "bump" was less then 3/4" thick mind you.. he told me they'd have to go ground advantage and that are going to be approximately 6 dollars a piece..there were 6 cards! So 36 bucks to send 6 legal size letters?!?! I asked can we dbl check the price? Each one weighed 4 1/2 OUNCES and the "bump" was less then 3/4" thick. I saw the option at the counter for first class each would be $2.31 I asked if I can do that? He said that's fine.. I purchased the first and mentioned to my husband who was with me that seems a little more like it (I don't need tracking I wanted to send these more old school) then James the postal employee very meanly and condescendingly says "well sending these first class will guarantee the receiver will pay extra postage...so sending em this way won't work because the receiver will pay" I was in shock.. I asked him then why didn't you tell me that? He said because I was giving you what you wanted..I mean sure I want to send these more traditional but by no means do I want my receiver of a Christmas card let alone a memoriam letter with "hey pay more postage" attached to it.. I then asked well you told me regular stamping these probably couldn't go because of the "bump" but never said anything about first class being an issue til now.. he asked then what do you want? I asked nicely for these to be sent where there is no issue with paying extra postage for the receiver he advised ground advantage at $5.65 a piece (6 letters) I said then let's do that..he was so rude to me saying "there must be something in the water" as he changed out the first letter with the first class for the Ground advantage..I said "excuse me" he said I told you what to do and you didn't listen I simply said "you didn't educate me about first class being an issue only stamps isn't there a difference?" I mentioned to my husband that Thanksgiving isn't even over and already someone is starting James then butts into my comment and says "yes there is lots to be thankful for" and I said yes like having a job right? He says "you think you have that kind of power?" I said I will happily post a review.I felt cheated I looked at usps website about "first class shipping rules" and my letters could have gone first class (less then 3/4" thick) ..I was charged an extra 20 dollars for postage.. I tried calling to speak with consumer affairs and they were absolutely no help.. James will simply get a slap on the wrist and im out my 20 bucks..If someone would of taken the time to educate me and not talk down to me and explain the reason for my letters being deemed " a package" to go ground advantage vs "a letter" to go first class I would feel better about it.. I'll let the fact I may have paid 20 dollars more for postage go but being treated the way I was by the postal employee James at this location 2011 Fort Campbell in Clarksville Clerk #44 is UNACCEPTABLEUsing UPS this holiday season

I’ve been waiting for a package that requires a signature. It was mark undeliverable due to animal interference which is a lie. I have a security camera and I do not have a yard with any animals. They drove to the box and left. I will pay for a private service from now on. Called the 800 number and agreed to a call back rather than waiting on hold. They called back and disconnected immediately and did not try again. At this point I just want to return the package.

Christine R is a very rude and disrespectful woman. Made my husband feel stupid. Kept screaming at him when he honestly did not know what to do in order to return a package. After the transaction, I told her that she had no right to be rude to my husband and that I got her name and that I was filing a complaint on her. She told me to go ahead and do so and that she didn’t care if I did or not. She was acting like she was going to chase me out the door for even confronting her. I am not a Karen in the slightest bit but Ms Christine should not even have a job working in a public setting if she cannot be nice/ respectful to others

They leave you a note in your door saying that they attempted a delivery but when I went to the usps the person was supposed to be there already at the usps and she wasn’t because she got out late so that explains everything on why she didn’t even bother to knock the door. She was late on her route so she just left a note on my door saying she attempted but I know she did not because I was here all day. I even got a person from maintenance that day with no problem at all. So why the usps saying that they “ATTEMPTED” the delivery when she didn’t even knock our door. Or am I supposed to be looking through my window until they arrive? So stupid.

Lately my mail comes after 8 PM. Yesterday the mail truck drove right by my house. Ordered something and they told me package not delivered. Lots of time my mail gets delivered to the wrong address. Down the street it turns into another street name with the same number and then I get a message. Y package been delivered with a front porch that is not mine.
