Worst experience of my life. Owner would not let me have one of the cats and Lied. Said that someone had to be here for visit and then made me look like the bad guy. Would not recommend.

Great facility. I was not aware of the strict stipulations they have due to the facilities being small. They do not take animals over 30 lbs, and there's certain breeds that they do not take as well (pits, german shepherds).

The people are okay but they sent my babies to animal control right after they were dropped off at the ark. This place seems untrustworthy and misleading

This place is just a little house with too many animals inside of it. It looks as if someone is living there and the animals all have kennel cough from there being too many in one area. After going you are asked to make an appointment and spend time with the animal you are thinking of getting and then sent home to think about if you really want it. If you really do, you have to schedule another appointment and they decide if the animal is a good fit for you and if not then they will advise on other animals they think you would be more suited to. I've had animals my whole life and no one is going to tell me that it's not a good match for something that I want. I hate to say it but this place shouldn't even exist. It's like a foster home for pets and it doesn't seem healthy for the animals to be in such a small space all the time.

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals they have there.... which ones get along with the other dogs and which ones need to be separated. Area is clean and does not have an odor, so you know the animals are well taken care.

I was very impressed by the staff as far as being friendly . I adopted Bentley in late fall after loosing my furbaby best friend months earlier. Bentley has become my shadow and lap dog.. I can not thank the Ark enough for placing him in my life.
