The store is pretty good. The paint is good the prices are good. The website sucks and it’s completely unhelpful. When you do finally find the phone number to the store that you’re looking for, it is incorrect. When you look for the phone number on Google, it is incorrect. Their locations are sparse which makes it difficult to use their product and work in other areas. They’ve got some work to do if they’re going to compete.

Mikel was so nice and professional. He was patient with my children looking at his color books. We will not go any where else for paint .

We have been in several times and have always been treated with not only professional courtesy but we have been made feel like we were friends. The concern shown to our pregnant niece when we took her in was very comforting, they asked if she would be in the house when they were painting he explained the option of a no vapor line of paint that is available. It has been a true pleasure dealing with this business. We recommend it to all our friends when they talk about having to paint. The products they sell are outstanding. Forget the big box stores Porters out does any line the box stores carry and is a better bang for your buck hands down. When we started to prep a wall for painting, over Valspar's high end paint & primer, we used a regular primer to help in the change of color and once dried the Valspar did not have to be scraped off since it peeled off in large sheets(wish I had realized it, would have saved a lot of time and money. I have a video of my wife using a plastic putty knife to lift an edge and peel the paint off a large section of the wall. Needless to say it took about 20 minutes to peel/prep the whole wall for painting. Believe me when I say: "Go Porters or don't go at all!"
