I have never been treated so lowly in an establishment. The blonde girl working there should be ashamed of herself and - to be blunt - needs to be fired. If it wasn't for my daughter and 99% of the items I was purchasing being for her, I would have dropped everything and walked out of the store. You know a business' customer service is nonexistent when one patron wishes you luck on their way out of the store and another insists you cut in front of them in line, saying "this isn't right." Instead of suspending my transaction at the self check out register and taking it to one that accepted cash, she crumpled up the suspended receipt that had the barcode on it, threw it out along with another womans reciept (a faux pas on her end lol)and said, "you can just have him ring all your stuff up again" with a mile long line behind me. She didn't care who it offended in the line when doing what she did or about their feelings on being held up another 20 minutes. No empathy or concern about anyone's feelings aside from her own. She did it to be snarky towards me after I asked her kindly to suspend it, take it to another register and my exact change would be 24.75... People like THAT are part of the problem in this country.

Manager is mean and nasty. I overheard her calling the police on 2 young kids selling paintings next to the road. She cited that they don't allow anyone to sell things on their property. A few days later she allowed some organization to sell items right outside the doors. The parking lot is always filled with trash and glass. It takes police interference to get the manager to actually clean her nasty store. I guess it's time to call corporate after years of this filth.

The absolute cleanest and most stocked DG's not just in Cleveland but in the entire state of Tennessee! They also have an excellent team of employees that are always so helpful & knowledgeable of questions I may ask?! Especially the Asistance Manager, Aaron! He definitely works well with time management, friendly and smart, with excellent customer service and leadership skills! The only thing I see room for improvement, is to get rid of those dead beat young ladies that call in all the time ,including but not limited to NEW YEARS DAY,Black Friday ,4th of July , well u get my point. David is also a hard worker, as well as Amber ( the manager) if you are ever in the area. I highly recommend it!

I use the dollar general app to scan my items as I go and to use my coupons. 2 evenings ago I did this I had 8.50 in coupons the team lead was told by his manager that he could not use them although these coupons were hanging on their items throughout the store and they were showing on my dg app, I was still refused and only ended up using 1.50 in coupons and put the other stuff back, in the mean time I took items out of my cart on dg app and the total was still completely off like it was the first time included with taxes. Big loop hole with the company. I called corporate to let them know everything that had occurred and was told I would be notified by the dm within one day and I still haven't received the call.
