I just had the absolute worst cashier named Angie. Not only was you very rude, but very obnoxious and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, she said, I am the one on duty. Okay I’ll call corporate tomorrow. One thing I do know is how many cameras are in the store as well as I wasn’t the only customer she was rude to. Unbelievable
She’d rather be on her Bluetooth and super rude.

I'm so upset I'm SHAKING ? I just heard a customer get irritated by the associates asking for an ID for cigarettes. She left and I was in the next aisle listening ? As soon as she left the associates started making racial slurs as well as mocking her and laughing about her reaction which was simply irritation. I was letting it go until he said I WOULD BUY HER A TICKET ALL THE WAY BACK TO AFRICA. GET OUT OF AMERICA. I came around to see both associates laughing AND the manager standing ten feet from them DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT. NOTHING. I confronted her, took her picture and she would not give me an owners phone number or general manager. I called them backwards bleeps and left. Idid not handle this well, I overflowed. The man literally admitted it. Then a black customer walked in and I asked him if he was going to buy her a ticket back to Africa as well and I told her and he admitted it AGAIN. Then I went out to the parking lot and there was a black man and I told him what happened and he left. I am EXTREMELY upset. With the manager. EXTREMELY ?

It was horrible.i have called corporate.the register said ita gave me cash back but Noone apparently fills up the register because it had no money.instead of just refunding me out of safe or other register and reconciling the registers at end of night the supposed manager Darkise Osborne was very rude and refused .he said my bank would refund me,which is a lie because my receipt said I got it.when I pointed this out and ask him to write me a note saying I did not receive it and sign he scribbled down "did not receive cash back" no signature ,no amount. I gave it back and ask him to write his name on it. He finally did. I have called the store for a solid hour and the phone is busy. CORPORATE said they would put in a call to district manager but I am older,work part time, and it's almost Christmas and I don't get paid til next week.I need my money today.

Nestled in the heart of Cleveland, Tennessee, Dollar General on Michigan Ave once held the promise of being a convenient shopping destination for many. However, my recent visit to this establishment left me disheartened and disappointed, to say the least.Upon entering the store, the first sensory encounter was far from pleasant. Instead of the welcoming ambiance one would hope for, the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke and, regrettably, underarm odor greeted me. It was an unfortunate and discouraging introduction to what was supposed to be a routine shopping trip.As I ventured further into the store, it became evident that cleanliness was a significant concern. The aisles were cluttered with filth and litter, with garbage strewn about the floor. This not only marred the shopping experience but also posed potential trip hazards for customers navigating the already narrow pathways.Adding to the overall sense of neglect was the disinterest displayed by the employee behind the counter. Instead of attending to customers' needs, he seemed preoccupied with watching television on his phone, an act that left me questioning the dedication of the staff to maintain the quality of the store.The issue of empty shelves further compounded my disappointment. It appeared as though the store had been ransacked, with numerous essential items unavailable for purchase. This lack of inventory not only hindered the shopping experience but also made me question the store's ability to cater to the basic needs of its customers.In conclusion, my visit to Dollar General on Michigan Ave in Cleveland, TN, was a disheartening experience marked by filth, neglect, and a distinct lack of basic inventory. It is my hope that the management of this establishment takes these concerns seriously and works diligently to improve the overall shopping experience for its patrons. Until then, I find it challenging to recommend this particular Dollar General location as a reliable shopping destination.

Got what I needed from there, but when I asked the cashier to do a split transaction she looked at me like I asked her to perform rocket science. Ended up paying for it all with the money I was saving for gas because she couldn't do a simple split transaction.

I been going here for 3 years now..Just went by there to grab some last min things & the newer young mixed or asian black headed girl w/ glasses was rude af, smart mouth, rushing, got attitude when i asked for my receipt like the audacity that i asked. Ive had ppl double ring my stuff up here before & had the manager look over my receipt & had to give me money back numerous times. I need someone to reply w/a contact number asap. Yall just hire anyone huh.

This is absolutely by far the WORST Dollar general ever!!!There is an older man there (One of whom has never ever touched a razor in his life, literally looks like a homeless person behind the counter).... But that's not the problem, The problem is his terrible terrible terrible attitude!!! TERRIBLE ATTITUDE!!!!DG must be extremely desperate!!!There is a couple ladies in there that are pretty awesome.... Why would they not have one of them run this place instead of this despicable (and disgusting) excuse for a human...
