I fostered a precious kitten from here and it has been very simple and convenient so far. The ladies are very polite and helpful. They also have great specials offering homes to needy animals at a very low cost unlike many other places. Thanks SPCA! ?

I love that the SPCA is saving animals and their service and dedication is so needed, but I gave a 4 star rating due to the very bad facility and I felt some health protocols are needed. I did adopt our newest family member, a handful of a hound dog!❤️

So grateful for Providence bringing Lodi into my life and my roomie being agreeable to her. Lol. Naps loves her and we're grateful to rescue her from being abandoned in 20 degree weather at 8 weeks old. She's 10 weeks old now and putting on some good muscle and growth.

The person on the phone was very rude to me would not give me an answer when I asked a simple question. Shame on them! Now the cat I was trying to find a way to live will have to go to the shelter where it will surely not be given a chance. Great cat too. Just lost its way and hasn't got a home anymore

I don’t know where these good reviews came from. Probably just begged for reviews from customers cause the manager is probably one of the rudest people I’ve met since I’ve moved here to this state. Was looking to volunteer here in my spare time to care for animals. Definitely not the way to talk to people coming to offer help animals in need. I denied even walking in for the interview cause the introduction with the manager there was probably one of the most unprofessional and uncomfortable conversation I’ve had with someone who needs volunteers. Definitely wouldn’t want my pet to have been cared for by someone like that. Apparently Im not the only one seeing as how I just now took a look at all the other 1 star reviews.

They let an unaltered dog get adopted, he was then dumped at AC. He had hours to live and Michele Corbin pleaded with them, to take him back. She offered to pay for vetting and have him altered; they STILL wouldn't take him back! They do zero fee adoptions and refuse to take back the problematic dogs and cats, they often lie about behavioural problems. 60% of the dogs dumped at AC, are.FROM the SPCA. They won't take them back! They're no different than a Paw and Prayer! Please don't donate to a company that can't even take back their adopted out animals. Taxpayers have no day in how things are run. When they pay for the staff's hourly wages and manager's salary

They are so problematic to the county of Bradley. They do zero cost adoptions and then refuse to take back the dogs or cats. Those dogs and cats are dumped at Cleveland AC.Michele Corbin is a phenomenal rescue owner and can only rescue so many. SPCA adopted out an unaltered and no vetting dog, the dog ended up at Cleveland's AC. Michele pleaded with EVERYONE at SPCA, to take the dog back. She would cover vet care and altering, they STILL wouldn't budge! So many volunteers have spoken out about the care these poor animals have gotten from SPCA and they stopped having volunteers come in. Or rather adult volunteers, they know the game they're playing.THEY WON'T TAKE IN STRAY ANIMALS EITHER, THAT'S ARE FROM THE COUNTY!

It's a small shelter run by a volunteer staff that have a heart of gold. It is often over crowded because they do thier best to save animals in need and care for them with the limited resources they have available. We have adopted our youngest cat from them when she was around 6-8 months old and she is now part of our forever family. Sweetest little kitty who cuddles with us every day. If you are looking for a cat or dog, consider adopting one of these sweet animals. They need you to give them a second chance at life

It is always a nice experience other than those poor kits and pups- seeing them there instead of a good home! Please consider adopting before buying and donating if you already have a house full like I do.VOLUNTEERS are always needed.

The SPCA is a wonderful organization that does the best they can with what they have. They are understaffed, overworked, overcrowded, and overwhelmed and yet they still work every day to save the lives of animals and do good in their community. Spay, neuter, adopt, foster, volunteer!!

so me and my mom went by today just to see if they had any extra cat litter scoopers and maybe a flea collar but they was close we noticed a dog was chained up there and a note but we went on about are day then we start to notice a purple ford ranger following us we stopped a different location and even stopped and got out to try and talk to this man but never did anything just drove away and kept following well we got away from this unknown man come home and a hour later a officer shows up at our door asking if we left a dog chained up at the spca we told him and explained our story but that doesn’t give this person a right to follow us all the way to our home fearing for our lives people are crazy into todays age so who ever this worker was please don’t do that this isn’t right i’m sorry for the dog but it wasn’t us and we was just absolutely terrified of what could happen when being followed around cleveland

Chooses not to accept strays!?! Was told a stray dog that has been roaming the neighborhood was taken here, friendly dog, once you gain his trust, and the SPCA wouldn't accept him. Now he's back on the streets, not fixed, no owners, no one claiming him, and no where to turn. Thanks for nothing SPCA.
