My husband and I have been using deals small engine repair for over six years once we moved and built our house in Andersonville. For many years, we had such a wonderful experience at deals. I'm not sure if it's because they recently changed hands of ownership or what, but the experience has not been the same. My husband and I took our mower in to be serviced for the season. It came back with Lugnuts, missing off the tires. When we went in, they basically blamed us even though it was three days after they told us the mower was ready and said we came early. Then we had to wait for new Lugnuts because they had used our on someone else's mower. So we took the mower back a second time. Got the mower home again and realized it had no hydraulic fluid after being service for the year. We told them about it and they said well maybe the sponge just soaked it up. We added over two bottles of hydraulic fluid which shows there had been none put in there. I am mowing as of yesterday, since the ground was wet, I went to jump off my mower since it was sliding down a steep and back, expecting the blade to disengage and found out that they had somehow turned off the safety switch when servicing it this year along with everything else that had happened and almost chopped my feet off. was one of the scariest moments I've had in a long time. Again, my husband calls to let them know and they have excuses of why that could happen and again was possibly our fault. The mower was just fine before we took it to them and it came back with missing Lugnuts and no hydraulic fluid. I used to recommend deals to everyone. That is not the case in anyway shape or form as of today. They have done nothing to make this right, they did not reimburse over $400 or even a small amount of it that we paid to have our mower service for the season. Even though we had to take three trips back and now they have said, we will try to work you in to get the sensor fixed on the mower seat, even though they are the ones that turned it off. Again, I do not recommend deals small engine repair in Clinton, for any reason.

I was fortunate enough to have discovered this outstanding company a few years ago and have been bringing in my two John Deere lawn tractors in for end of season maintenance and any minor repairs as needed. I then started buying all my Stihl products from them. I hope that they will never uproot and leave Clinton, Tn. They have become like family to me...(for some reason I can't upload a pic of my latest purchase, which I bought on 12/27/23, but it is the Stihl 800 blower.... I can't wait to tackle the leaves. They don't stand a chance. Lol.

Don't buy anything from Deal's , they will not back warranty. Charged my brother 31 dollars to tell him the warranty wouldnt “warranty” even though when they upsold the warranty said it would! Then said it would be 240 to fix it. Took it to Ace in Oliver Springs, fixed it for 60, no labor and was talking to Stihl to get that cost reimbursed

Took a cub cadet mower to them for them to put new belts on install a new battery and get it ready for the mowing season. Got it 8 weeks later and the first time I engaged the blades the belt came off and it had a cut place in the belt. When I inspected it closer I discovered that they left off my pulley guards and my belt guides off the mower. I had to take it to another mechanic and pay for a new belt and had to purchase all the belt guides and the pulley coverI had intended to buils. The sad thing is that I bought the mower from the owners that now owns Deals . I paid them 300.00 to repair it and then turned around and had to pay someone else to fix it right. I had intended to buy another mower from them and I did buy another mower but because of what they did , I bought a zero turn from someone else. I won't recommend them to anyone else.

We picked up our mowers,4 days later lady called to tell us they haven't even looked at them. When I told her we had them already, she wanted to say they're still in their shop. When we got mowers back, the guy wrecked our walk behind. Took 5 people to get it off the TOP of the air conditioner! We were told there's NO manager when we asked to speak to one! Not organized at all!!!!

Took a push mower in for a repair estimate. They said it would be 2 weeks. It has been 3 weeks and no estimate yet.

Great source for lawn mower parts of any brand, not just the brands they sell. Quick & courteous service too.

This is a awesome place to buy Stihl products. The personal that waits on you treats you like a long time freind. The products they sell at price competitive. I have had my maintenance on my saw done and it was like brand new when I got it back.I just purchased a weed Wacker this week and for the price of a six pack of oil I received a additional 2 year warranty on it. Highly recommend! Don't go any place else !

Extremely dissatisfied with the lawn mower repair service they performed. They didn't fix the problem and actually made it worse.

Couldn't be more impressed! Brought my Stihl chainsaw in with a broken bearing and a bent washer on a Saturday morning. They had all the parts in hand and fixed it about 15 minutes and I was on my way with a working saw. Repair was VERY affordable. Wow. I will be back here often. There selection of Stihl equipment is the best in the area. Thanks!!

10/7/21 - Deal's is the perfect place if you don't know squat about engines & don't know a neighbor that can take a look.Took my ancient Yard-Man for a fuel leak to find a crack in the carburetor. They got it sealed up and running again. They also service weed-eaters & riding mowers too.The store runs mainly on Stihl equipment & offer parts on order.
