Dropped of my truck at 8:30 am to get tires, brakes, and oil done. They called when done and I picked it up around 2:30. They forgot to rotate the tires as was written on the invoice. They said to wait and they will do it immediately. 20 minutes later, the truck was still sitting outside. I paid and left. I'll rotate them myself. Next time I'll go to Jiffy Lube or somewhere else. Customer service is almost non existent these days.

The last couple times I have gone have been great, except last time I came in they told me I needed a coolant flush. I called and The quote was 169$ plus tax. Something didn’t sit right with me and I checked myself and even got a second opinion. Not only was the coolant still bright orange and not dirty, it was still above half way full. All I needed was a little top off and I’m set for the winter. Really disappointed that they tried to charge me almost 180$ for something I clearly do not need right now. Always trust your gut and always get a second opinion. I only paid 20$ for the top off at the other shop I went to and the customer service went above and beyond to be honest with me.

Been on the look out for a minivan. I had called so many places my exact wording was I'm looking for a minivan. Not an suv seemed like everyplace I called wanted to put me in a pathfinder. What part of no suv did they not can. Lou at Ray Varner was so amazing listened to my every word and got me what I wanted. Thank you Lou so much.

We are traveling from Ohio back to Texas and my daughters 2014 escape had the transmission go haywire. We had stopped in the Knoxville area and I took it to this dealership to see about getting it fixed. The guy in the service center was very nice but told me he could not help me and gave some numbers of other transmission places around the area. I got back in the car and did a bit of google searching and realized this was a common problem and it was going to be around 5 grand to replace. I thought maybe I should see if there is any value for the car and that I might should just get her a new/newer car. I walked into their showroom. I was the only Customer in there. I walked up to the desk and the lady sitting there did not look up or speak at all. She continued to play on her phone so I walked around a bit. There was a nice older/restored pickup in the showroom so I checked it out (not a sales person got up from their desk or said a word). I went back to the front desk and not the lady there or the two other guys sitting behind her looked up or said a word. I checked my phone and had been in There for 12 minutes and not one word (we have been traveling for a week or so and I may have not looked GQ but was shocked no one would help) I went back to my car and was trying to figure out what to do. I called my Ford dealership in Texas and told them what was going on. Needless to say they could not believe what I told them about no one even speaking to me. They told me to give them 15 minutes and they would call me back. I was not sure what they could do, but waited. I got a call back in under 15 minutes. They had contacted another Ford dealership not very far away and told them the whole story. They told me that the GM was on his way to pick me up and there was a tow truck coming for the escape. I had moved to a fast food joint just down the road. Low and behold a very nice man shows up in about 30 minutes and picked me up. He took me to his dealership and told me they could fix the escape with no problem or would work with me on a new one if I wanted. After being there about 20 minutes my escape was towed in. We talked and everyone there seemed involved with the situation and were positive and helpful. 2 hours later I left the dealership with a 2019 loaded F-150 for my daughter. I have always been a Ford guy because they seem to always handle business and take great care of me. This dealership did not even come close to taking any kind of care of me, but a quick phone call to a dealership that can, got me in touch with an awesome dealership who went above and beyond for us.

Ray is always a fair trade guy. Mike the salesman we have worked with multiple times is great at what he does. No need to drive when the best deal is in my back yard.

had a ford recall for transmission cable bushing fixed 3 years ago. Went to leave work today and my car wouldn't go into gear. Looked under the hood and found the cable repair failed. After temporarily fixing it, I drove out to Ray Varner Ford. Spoke to service counter guy (Mike, I think). He came out and looked and then called out a mechanic (Darrel) and he agreed that it needed fixing. The took my car in immediately and made the repair. It was fixed in less than 15 minutes. Now that's what I call service!!!.Great job guys !!I'll be using Ray Varner Ford for all my future repairs.

F150 Broke down on the side of the road on the way home from vacation back to Kentucky. The Service Department got us in and out in just about an hour!! Big Shout out to JP for excellent service and communication with us throughout the process. The whole team made a less than ideal situation relatively painless and saved our trip home!

Ray Varner sales people and sales management are of poor value. I recently tried to buy a new car, and I had a credit rating of about 730, not great, but not bad. By the time Ray Varner sales person was done with me, and tried to get me financed from about 10 lenders, my credit rating had fallen to about 630. I will not do business with Ray Varner ever again.

I generally don't do the whole online reviewing thing, but my experience with Ray Varner Ford was definitely noteworthy so I'd like to give them and their team some props. In late February the front transfer case on my AWD Taurus decided to give out so I began calling all of the local Ford dealers to get a quote worked up for replacement. I live in Maryville, so the first calls I made were to the closer dealerships. I couldn't get in touch with the service writers at either of those locations, even after leaving voicemails with my info and desired work. The first time I called RVF I was transferred over to service and immediately got in touch with their service writer JP. Simply put, this gentleman is outstanding. I told him the work that I needed done and he told me he would call me back in a couple days with a quote. I received that follow up call, I gave the greenlight for the job, he ordered the parts, and I waited a few weeks until the parts were on hand before I took the car up there. JP's communication and overall helpfulness was remarkable and truthfully that man deserves a raise. If at any point you need to call RVF and get info or updates you better believe that JP will pick up the phone and have answers for you.The turnaround time for the service was absolutely phenomenal. I dropped the car off on Monday, 3/13, and I got my car back in hand on Thursday, 3/16. To give an idea of how great this is; I ended up having the transfer case and the water pump replaced. On the 3.5L Ti-VCT the top half of the engine has to be blown apart just to access the water pump. Basically both jobs are quite lengthy and involved and Jason, the tech, knocked it out of the park. All new FoMoCo parts went in and when I requested that the old parts be saved, sure enough they were waiting in the trunk of the car when I picked it up.I usually do all of my own work on my vehicles, but for a job like this I didn't have the time or space to get it done. Ray Varner Ford was outstanding to work with and I will gladly take my car back up there in the future if it ever needs any major work.

Great experience with Ray Varner Ford. Ordered my truck 6 months ago, with a handshake deal on the price, with a small deposit. Picked up the truck today, and everything went smoothly, and efficiently. The truck looked great, and was prepped and ready to drive off the lot. They even scanned my VIN into the FordPass app, to ensure it registered correctly. Great people, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerened about making sure every question and concern I had was taken care of.

We usually use another Ford dealer, but when they couldn’t fit us in for an oil change we came here and I’m so glad we did! Service was excellent! Fast and friendly, able to get us in on a whim! We will be using this service center from now on!
