“I can't recommend this enough - please, please put up a sign (besides that sign on wheels with removable letters) with the business name on it. I can't tell you how long it took me after I moved here to find out that this place sold produce (under previous owners; I'm not sure what's in there now as I haven't been there since it changed hands...my friends stopped going there for produce, that's also why I'm not sure). I only found out through word of mouth...eventually.
As an outsider just driving by, it's not obvious what type of business it is. Especially if you've seen it mostly during winter with no plants outside. If you're missing a sign, you're missing business. Whether it's new neighbors or some tourists. If you still sell local artwork, I'd think that tourists might be interested in that. (I have a good product idea for tourists.)

PS: Cool future sign idea...12"x18" panels with one letter per panel painted by maybe local high school art students...each panel letter could have some character...like a little picture of something you sell. Maybe that's too cutesy, but I know the Fruitstand has connections with the local artists!”
