It is my birthday today & my first time ordering from the B&N cafe in the Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Collierville. I ordered a refresher & asked if they honor the Starbucks card. The owner said no. I was fine with that except that I see Starbucks logos & products everywhere. So I asked about the difference that if Starbucks is everywhere, why wasn't the card honored? She yelled that she is licensed rather than helping me understand it & was not polite. So I went about my business, dismissing the previous regard. I drank the drink in what seemed like two sips: what happened - why did my drink disappear so quickly? I looked at the cup, filled with large chunks of ice & the extra strawberries I ordered is barely visible. I was greatly disappointed by the scam of taking ppl's money for very little quantity. The contrast of the Starbucks brand, in meeting customer satisfaction, where everyone wins, spoke volumes. Service was horrible, while quantity did not meet the cost charged to the customer. I've visited the location by the wolfchase galleria numerous times & it has built up the reputation that this business is a commendable brand. However, this location accrues a less than expected repertoire. Double thumbs down on recommending this location to family & friends... For an upscale bookstore, let alone the neighborhood & prestige this location carries, it has proven there is more friendliness and an authentic type of service amongst those who are located in more humbling neighborhoods. The snootiness resembles mule breath during the Covid-19 season.

Love this place. We have visited the "Starbucks" inside our Barnes & Noble, hoping for a peaceful reading and coffee experience, but instead, I encountered what can only be described as a barista with a PhD in rudeness.
My simple request for "less syrup" was met with a curt "it's either unsweetened or regular, take it or leave it." Well, I chose to leave it, but not before witnessing an act of barista defiance. My daughter's order was next, which, of course, turned out to be a carnival of errors.
This barista not only served up drinks with an extra shot of attitude but also seemed to have mistaken the concept of customer service for a personal insult. As for her appearance, let's just say she'd win no beauty contests, but perhaps she's saving her charm for the coffee beans she grinds with such ferocity. (See Pic.)
Save your taste buds and your sanity - maybe try the next Starbucks over. This one's brewing more than just coffee; it's brewing disappointment.
Fair to say another barista awesome lady with curly hair and eyeglasses made our day brighter. She gave us our drinks and the discount. Thank you young lady, you are the one who is making this world better.

Rude workers!! If you don't like your job GET ANOTHER JOB. You absolutely DO NOT talk crap about customers infront of them. If your mad that you have a shelf full of toys at KID level TALK TO YOUR CORPORATE OFFICE ABOUT HOW THEY SET IT UP! Being upset because a 1 year old MESSED UP a shelf you just straighten up . I quote " I love when I have to straighten up a shelf I've already done once". So sorry ma'am next time we can clear that shelf off for you. I absolutely did not realize that you weren't a child friendly store. The child was pushing buttons and touching toys not clearing off the shelves and acting wild just for clarification. This was a older lady that said this.

I went looking for children's books in Spanish but their selection was very limited to one corner. Their adult Spanish books section was in another corner also very limited. Overall it's a good bookstore.

I love this Barnes & Noble location! I usually go here on my lunch breaks every day, and the staff are always so kind and helpful. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The Starbucks employees are also very kind and helpful too!
