Have been to GC in Germantown number of times and experience have always been smooth. But the staff in Houston levee is very unfriendly & nothing short of unprofessional. The cut was uneven with sides cut longer than the top when I asked to make it even, the guy said he will charge for one more haircut. I checked in online but they were not checking in people who were walking in, they were just telling them to sit & wait. Was talking to a guy who waited for over 30 mins only to know that they will take care of him after 7 people who checkin online. I would think they should have let him know as soon as he walked in.
Requested style: Clippers on side and scissors on top.

On the bright side, I was seated in a station in no time. After that, it was All Downhill. I paid $25 for what might be the worst haircut of my life! Thats's saying a lot for a 61 year old man who cut his own hair for 20 years. My stylist, Tina, seemed confused and tentative throughout the butchery of my hair. I have jagged, differing lengths on one side that look like a child cut my hair. Avoid At All Costs!!

As the others reviews here point to, I had three worst experience here with Rick (Ricky Lockett) tall bald guy. He was very rude and unprofessional and did not listen to what you had to say. He rushed the haircut which resulted in a very bad haircut.

The worst haircut I've ever gotten hands down! Do not go here! Sports clips is right around the corner go there instead do yourself that favor and save your hair lines. The guy who cut my hair didn't even act like he wanted to be there said a total of 2 words to me throughout a 20 mins haircut. Bald black middle aged gentleman with an attitude very unprofessional.

I very much enjoyed my experience at Great Clips. The check-in process from the app was very easy. You don't need an account like Sport Clips. It was quite convenient. It was my first time in the store and I was greeted by Jenny. She was nice and friendly. I then was greeted by Connie and she cut my hair. She did an outstanding job and was very nice. She was professional and had a great attitude. I will return soon. I highly recommend Great Clips of Collierville. Thank you and keep up the great work!!

Love them for my kids cuts. It’s usually quick and painless. BUT! I decided one day to go and get my own hair cut and I was pretty upset. I wanted about 3-5 inches off. She told me she didn’t think it would look good that short so she trimmed maybe an inch off. I requested layers. Didn’t get those. And to be honest, it just seemed like a waste of my money. I will still take my sons because they’ve done their hair great. But if you are looking for an adult cut and have something “specific” in mind, be prepared to not come out with what you want ??♀️

I have been visiting this place since it opened probably about 6yrs ago. I have always liked this place and stylists here, no complains whatsoever.Now, as some of the previous stylists left the job, they have new stylists. One of their new stylists Ricky is the worst.He is too rude and appears disinterested at his work. He may be talking politely to you but he does not seem to want to do best to his client.He spoils hairstyle totally, does not seem to read the style notes on paper correctly and then points back at you with excuses that you did not communicate properly.Not sure how the numerous other stylists got it right all these years, if my communication was the problem.If Ricky happens to be your stylist just consider walking away.

With that attitude, I’m glad you close at 6 and not 7 like the website says, and 2 styles not doing anything with only 1 person sitting inside at 5:15, I understand people check in online… but there was a open hair cutter! Styles is over selling them….

After moving to the area from NC and having gone to a really amazing NC hairstylist friend for 15+ years, I saw Rick this morning at the Great Clips Collierville location and I am beyond grateful to find my TN hairstylist!!! Not only is Rick a really amazing hairstylist, he is also very kind and professional taking the needed time to get to know me and my hair needs. If you’re looking for a hairstylist/barber, don’t hesitate any longer and go see Rick!
