Well a couple of weeks ago I had a great experience in Kroger on Houston Levee, so my sister and I decided to get there about 8 am and check shopping off our list. We have family visiting and we needed a few items.
Well, I remembered the young lady in the deli on my last visit and she was Sooooo helpful and kind.
She had a great attitude, so I stopped in the deli after picking up some fruit. Well she wasn’t there, but another lady was already there busy slicing meat. I waited patiently, but after a while, I realized maybe she didn’t see me. Then I saw the young lady who waited on me before, but she was going to the back. So I continued to wait for the lady who was still slicing meat.
My sister came along and I said maybe they’re not open yet. So, she asked the lady if they were open.
The lady replied, “8:00”.
It was 8:15.
So, I just figured she was busy because she never asked us if we wanted anything.
We decided to skip my favorite Honey Maple Turkey Breast. I really wanted my family to taste it because I’m always raving about how delicious it tastes.
Oh well. Sometimes Life gives You Lemons!

Once upon a time in the bustling kingdom of Memphis, there lived a humble villager who ventured to the grand market of Kroger. With dreams of a sumptuous feast, the villager purchased a golden box of fried chicken, hoping it would be a meal fit for royalty.
Alas, when the villager returned to their cozy cottage and opened the box. The once-crispy chicken had turned stale and sad, as if it had been cursed by a wicked witch. The first bite was a disaster; the meat was dry and flavorless, and the breading crumbled into a tasteless dust.
The villager's disappointment grew with each bite, and soon they realized that this chicken was not the magical meal they had hoped for. Instead, it was a dreadful concoction, unworthy of even the lowliest of peasants. With a heavy heart and an empty stomach, the villager vowed never to be deceived by the false promises of Kroger's fried chicken again.
And so, the tale of the terrible fried chicken spread throughout the land, warning others of the culinary catastrophe that awaited them at Kroger. The end.

I really wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT do online pickup at this location. They are ALWAYS slow and this time they asked me to come at back a later time and still made me wait 30-45 minutes. The associate walked past my car multiple times I had to call in to inquire about my way after I had already been checked in on the app. Just don’t do it!

Not a good store. They tend to advertise things for sale in their weekly ad, and when you get there the price is wrong.

If there were a no star option I'd click it. This location is the absolute worse! Do not order pickup! You'll never get it in the scheduled time block and after waiting well into the next pickup hour, either half of your items are missing and you have to request a refund! I had to wait nearly 4 hours for my pickup and once I received it nearly nothing I ordered was there. You talk to the pickup manager and she says you'll just have to handle it yourself. I had to leave my produce outside with the hose on because there were sooo many gnats swarming inside the bag, the grapes were molding and my popcicles and ice cream were melted! Instead of picking what I ordered they just gave me whatever they grabbed. I use to love this Kroger, was sort of excited after the renovations. It's just trash, right along with service. Don't bother contacting the store manager, you'll never get a call back, only a runaround about what hours they're in the store. It's disappointing, I'm looking into other grocers for my family needs.

I placed an online grocery pickup and had to wait over an HOUR to get my groceries. They had (2) people working and they were both going to the same cars together instead of multi-tasking. Most of the reserve spots had baskets blocking you from parking in the spot, you have to wait on other drivers to pull out then you pull in. After finally getting a parking spot it takes FOREVER to actually get your groceries. I will NEVER order grocery pickup from this location again! The reason for pick up is Convenience and this just defeats the purpose!! Just wow 🤯

This Kroger stole $39.14 of $40 off my cash app card!!!beware!! I didn’t even purchase anything. I had forgotten my pin and couldn’t use my card at the self checkout. So I left what I had and went home. Come to find out they took the $39.14.

I always place my items on the belt according to fresh, frozen, canned, dairy with my insulated bags ready to use. The baggers never place frozen, or the refrigerated items together. Canned items are placed with dairy and so on. I prefer to bag my own, but then, that's a problem because I am taking too much time. And today, I was told by the checker to use a larger cart next time. I prefer to push the smaller cart because of my lack of height, and back issues. The larger carts are too cumbersome to push.

Detress is the most disrespectful and incompetent person I have ever met in my entire life. The way she handles customer service makes me wonder how she possibly ended up with a supervisor role. I would love to speak with upper management about my experience.

Nice selection. Otherwise no stars. It is unbelievable to pay nearly $400 grocery bill for our family every 1.5 week AND have NO ONE help bag your groceries. Terrible customer service.

The produce area at this location is HORRIBLE!!!! For this store to be newly renovated, the most important area of this store is absolutely trash!!!. The fruits and veggies be so old looking, have mold, be too mushy, and just look like they been rolling on the floor, kicked around and then stocked on the shelves. They need to do better! Don’t waste your time going here for produce. Just go to another store if you’re looking for FRESH FRUIT and VEGGIES!
