I will never go to this one again. Rude, no one would help me. I had to get timbers by myself with the shooter in the rain. And had to load them up in my car. I am disabled. Shame on all those men on there phones.

Words that should never come out of an employee’s mouth to a patron, “well maybe if you knew how to read.” —a customer service desk team member (Spencer) in front of a crowd of employees and customers, to a man just attempting to get assistance on a large purchase, this Saturday, 12/28 around 5-6pm.
This statement only came out after the employee told the man, “well. I don’t know what to tell you.” after the employee was seemingly unable to pull up the man’s Lowe’s card account (which is honestly shocking in and of itself, that an employee would basically decline someone’s ability to make a purchase of what I’m assuming were two very expensive hot water heaters because they can’t figure out how to pull up a store-specific account? Is that not literally in the realm of expected knowledge for such a role?). The man then asked, distraught, why the employee had been giving him such a hard time from the moment he walked into the store— it was then that spencer made the snarky comment about if only the man knew how to read? Obviously I have no context, but assumingly they had multiple interactions. The man was visibly upset and Spencer brushed him off and told him to step aside and get out of line. How is this even remotely acceptable to treat any other human being, no less one you don’t know when you’re specifically representing customer support? The man pushed back, demanding Spencer call a supervisor. He initially did not respond or engage until the man demanded a second time, refusing to leave the desk. The supervisor was called, but never showed up, and so the man left. I’m honestly horrified. There are so many super helpful employees at Lowe’s, but seeing exchanges like this completely color the entire store brand.

Terrible curbside pickup experience. Had to wait for more than 15 minutes to get the order.

Unacceptable Curbside Pickup Experience – Waited Nearly an Hour
I had an absolutely terrible experience with Lowe’s curbside pickup, and I feel compelled to warn others about their lack of service. I placed an order for a refrigerator and opted for curbside pickup to save time. Instead, I ended up wasting 46 minutes sitting in my car, waiting for someone to bring my order out – but no one ever did. I followed all the steps and checked in via the app, and even called the store, who put me on hold for 15 minutes AND NEVER RETURNED TO THE PHONE. But despite multiple calls to customer service and notifying the store that I was waiting, I received no assistance. Not only that, once I went in the store and asked for a manager to express my dissatisfaction, I waited an additional 15 minutes and guess what? He never showed up despite me being told he was “on the way”.
As someone who has worked in the customer service industry for nearly a decade, bad customer service infuriates me. It’s beyond frustrating to see other customers coming and going while I sat there waiting for almost an hour with no communication or updates. If I had known curbside pickup was going to be such a disaster, I would have made other arrangements. Lowe’s clearly doesn’t prioritize customer service or respect their customers’ time.
I will seriously reconsider shopping here in the future. If you’re looking for prompt, reliable service, look elsewhere!

Lowes, aka Rob Lowes, has a good selection of home goods. The "hardware" of yesteryear is over. We are stuck with Walmart style big box stores. We got 2 choices. Lowes and HD.

I just walk out the store empty-handed. Just because my online order is taking too long to get it, I wait long time and the women say that she is getting the order but takes forever and never show up again. ( my order supposed was ready)

No matter how loyal to the local store in Collierville, Customer service very poor. It does not get better. I encourage everyone to go somewhere else. Lowe’s doesn’t deserve the business. The staff doesn’t have any desire to help.

Ordered 6 items online for pickup. The Lowe's app notified me that the order was ready. Upon arrival, I found that 1 item was in the locker and 5 items were canceled. After walking through the store, I determined that ALL of my items were in stock. The logical conclusion is that the staff at 8pm on May 8th was either too lazy or too incompetent to pick the order. After going to the trouble to hook up a trailer and show up for a sizeable purchase, this really isn't acceptable. Fortunately, Mike (manager? not in uniform) assisted me after I asked for a manager. He was helpful in locating parts of my order. I suggest canceled orders be investigated for legitimacy. *Consistently* excellent service is the only way to stay out of the graveyard in business, Lowe's. There is work to be done.
