We took our pet for grooming and they gave appointment , but when we reached there they said grooming would take 3 to 4 hours..they have more dogs on wait..will make a call when done.. I think long wait..

Made an appointment for 830am, the groomer came in late, didnt say Goodmorning just walked passed me and my dog. She got my info and she was rude. Her name is(dog stylist) Viper and grooming manager name Hannah. She didnt make my dog feel comfortable at all, he was scared.so i picked him up and handed him to her she says, omg really? Then when i pick my dog up he is bald and bleeding in the foot. Had blood all over petco floor. After i told them do not cut him bald they did anyway. Much money I spend at this petco for my fishes and dogs you would think they be nice to loyal customers. They wasnt . They also racial discriminate at this store as well. Treated us way different from whites. They also banned me from the the grooming area because i was upset they messed my dog. I updated another pic 2025 he now has issues with his paw

Was just in here today 11/5 at 12:15 and was coming on my lunch break to get worms for my lizard and there was nobody at the register like always. So I stood and waited. Seen a girl walk past me twice knowing I’m at the register waiting. I was contemplating just leaving with my worms and leaving cash on the register but I did not want to be rude so I had to go hunt the lady down and find someone to check me out. This has happened twice now so just be prepared to have to find someone to check you out after you get your items.

Dog grooming here is just OK. Friendly staff but definitely consistently not impressed by the quality of grooming here. My dog is still wet when I pick him up.

I have been to this location twice and will not return. I visited yesterday and stood at check out for over 10 minutes waiting for a cashier. The person in front of me left leaving me first in line. The Groomers finally acknowledged those of us in line and said they would get help by paging overhead through an automated system no one could hear. This happened multiple times with still no cashier. The Groomer side only directed us to the front cash register with no other words of encouragement or direction. Finally a lady came in from the back and had to clock in. She didn't tell us which register to go to as she went to the one opposite of our line. When moving to her she then told me she would be at the original register. She rang me up and asked if I wanted a receipt. That was all the words used. She went to ring up the things left by the customer that left and I told her those were left and not mine. I explained it was bc no one was there to help us. Not once did anyone apologize for any inconvenience. Things happen but all that was needed was some ownership at best and customer service at worst. Acknowledge the customers wait to make them feel heard and apologize. The service at this location is abysmal.

The Collierville Petco staff has been magnificently helpful in this last week - first with the turtle emergency and then, by chance, the search for a new groomer....They actually had an opening (which can now be booked online and you can choose the date and time) the very day I was looking for a groomer! On arrival, Erin, checked Jennie in and listened to everything that was the perfect groom I had in mind....now, seriously, I have searched for years to have this half poodle half maltese cut done but with a nearly shaved body....there have been 2 who succeeded, only to disappear....but Erin? Erin wins the Gold Medal for absolute perfection with the verbal picture I painted for her! Even the cut around her face was even and smooth! And, I LOVE fluffy paws! Exuberance is an understatement! The management has done a most excellent job at finding talent for this store! They are truly professionals, not just stockers and cashiers! They are helpful and mindful, they listen and then do their very best to accomodate each customer and their beloved pets!

The worst grooming experience ever!! Erin completely shaved my shihtzu to the point of where his skin is irritated. Claimed he was matted. He was just groomed 2 wk prior & they didnt have to cut anything. He's regularly brushed. I specifically told them DONT TOUCH HIS FACE, except the top knot. Complete opposite!
I always see Viper but she was booked until next wk and i really wanted him to get a hair cut. Which was supposed to be an Asian fusion, i did not get that!! They claimed his one of his legs was matted so i said ok just do a puppy cut for now. I didnt know they would just shave him down like a rat!! At least they had sense to not cut his tail. I
Paid almost $100 for this. Ridiculous. Hannah was very rude and didnt try to help in any way and said well he was matted. You dont shave a dog to the point of irritated skin!!!
Never will i let one of their groomers touch my dog again!!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Petco. My daughter wanted her first pet. I used to be an aquarium addict so I was excited. It had been 20 years since I had anything though. Both Kristin and Lauren over a month period tested our water and helped us through our tank start since we had some trouble getting the water quality right. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and kind to my 9 year old daughter. I also noticed the health of all their aquariums was so much better than the typical Petco—something that bothers me usually and shows big corporations’ commercialism-over-lives mentality. I did have one encounter with a less-than enthusiastic employee who also fell short on their respect for animals, knowledge, and kindness but overall, it’s a great store.

Went in for a collar tag for my cat and only found 1 option small enough for his collar. Also, looked at new collars and harnesses and the dog section had way more options.
