Inconsistent service at this pharmacy. Some days they’re great; others they’re wildly incompetent. One technician tried to deny me a 3 day emergency supply of my blood pressure medication which I am entitled to get and NEED to take every day otherwise I will get very sick. I had it on auto-refill but they removed it from auto-refill so I ran out. The pharmacist had to correct her but she argued with me about it first. I did get my 3 pills eventually. They took far too long to input my antidepressant into the system the first time I filled it because they had “never seen it before” and got suspicious towards me until the pharmacist cleared it up again. Incompetent technicians possibly due to high turnover rate or bad training I’m not sure. I need my medication to survive. Pharmacy technicians are NOT doctors nor anywhere close to it. They should not argue with patients or try to deny them valid prescriptions. Get the pharmacist if you don’t know or have doubts. I am in pharmacy tech school myself and I know this. They are messing up too much period.

Houston Levee store in Collierville is far superior to Poplar. They have helped me every time. They have even driven to cordova to get my Rx for me. They call you back when they say they will. They will advocate for you when needed!

I work here so this is more of an ask for reviews. Let us know how we’re doing in this store and beyond, we would love to hear from you! #wearewalgreens

The pharmacist not sure if he is Indian or Arabic but he is a very impatient man . You ask him a question he asks like he is to busy to help he huffs and puffs and I will never use this pharmacy again . He is very rude . If you don’t care enough to be nice if I ask about a consultation I definitely wouldn’t want information from you . Also I witnessed him tell a customer that they could not get the Covid 19 shot because they didn’t have insurance and that you have to have a appt . When there are signs in building stating get your free Covid 19 shot . He should not be denying people at all

The staff have always been nice and that is tough at a general public accessible retail job that isn't made any easier with COVID stress. The store is well lit clean inside and out the staff keep my neighborhood drug store a great neighbor to have. Keep it up!

This Walgreens is very close to my house, I am a drug rep. Walgreens does not allow drug reps to come in and talk to pharmacist. Totally understand, however sometimes we offer coupons that patients could use to decrease cost, but I understand the rule. Now the problem, I went into this location because drive through had multiple cars and I needed to get a prescription filled for my daughter’s ear infection. I had my name badge on and was told I had to leave since I was a drug rep. Tried to explain that I was just getting a prescription filled. I was then told I could go outside to the drive through. Will never do business with any Walgreens. They possess a whole new level of stupidity.

Yesterday I was needing assistance to find a specific product in the cosmetics department at the Houston Levee store. The consultant, Nita Corbin, was so very helpful. She stopped what she was doing a helped me until we found it and she couldn’t have been nicer about it. She even gave me a complimentary bag of coupons and samples. In today’s shopping experiences, we can barely find an employee that will even make eye contact with us. Nita was a breath of fresh air in the world of “service with a smile” and I truly appreciated her efforts.
