What a delight to have stopped here on a rainy and gloomy day! We were greated with a friendly how do you do, handshake and hot coffee! This was a pleasant surprise...especially for a visitor center!! Not only did they listen to our questions, they also gave us excellent directions and loaded us up with homemade cookies and coffee to go! This is a must visit place to go!

A very nice employee offered me coffee, brownies and some water. The restroom was nice. I checked out the exhibits, and enjoyed the geology and this Confederate note. I also took a pic of the painting on the building next door.

We stopped here while exploring the Natchez Trace. The gentleman at the center was extremely helpful in providing information about the area. There are clean restrooms and an abundance of travel brochures.

We arrived here off of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Being disabled I use a peddle assist bike and was completely out of power. Not only did the lady assist in getting me juiced up, but she also directed me towards a Bike Campsite across the street from the center below the Fire Department. it has electric also! Really great town with wonderful people that cares. They have coffee, cookies, bathrooms with showers, as well as great information within their building of the history of the town. There is a pavilion with power on the outside with bench to sit while you wait. Highly recommend this stop if you're riding the Natchez Trace Parkway. This town deserves all the business that they can get for what they provide travelers.

The two gentlemen there today was really helpful. I told the things we didn't know about the Trace and suggested places to go that was not on the map.

Always friendly and clean facility to boot. Our favorite half way stop on the trace when traveling to see family in Murray County TN. Feels safer than any other of the unmanned rest stops.
