I’m extremely displeased with the customer service I’ve received - their inaccurate bookkeeping has resulted in multiple errors on my loan. They do not seem to care that their mistakes have negatively impacted myself and my credit score. I wouldn’t suggest using Family Advantage for any loans - save yourself the stress. One would think a “local, small town” credit union would care a little more about their customers’ well-being and satisfaction. Their back-of-office manager, Beth, has an extremely poor attitude towards customer service that was evident on our phone call.

Absolute worst bank ever tried to call for days to apply for a loan. Once approved and told I need to sign paperwork, I called for days with no answer on how or where to do it. Jessica does not return phone calls or emails, that should be a big red flag for a Bank Manager. Also so, everyone knows they shut debit cards off for international travel or international purchases because you can only use their card in the United States and when you ask to have it opened, they will only give you a little window (up to 60 days). Take your money elsewhere, learn from my mistakes, and from the looks of it so many others.

Just as the springhill location this one in Columbia also has friendly staff. Today only 2 were present but the agent at the desk did a good job handling things on her own and was able to get what I needed in a timely manner. I ask that those who criticize people of this type of business, to take a moment to realize what their going through and what type of atmosphere they have to deal with 6 days week.

Columbia and Spring Hill locations NEVER answer the phone. The Columbia location also has the most unprofessional workers I've ever seen.

This is by far the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. Can’t get ahold of anyone, nothing is done in a timely manner, if I can find another credit union that does the shared banking I’m switching. Ive been patient long enough. 30+ days no checks or debit card, the online doesn’t update or post correctly. Shouldn’t have ignored the red flags when I opened my account.

Member applied for an auto loan and met with Dawn who never followed up with him. She never replied to emails and answered and returned telephone calls. This is not only rude, but also reflects a lack of professionalism, organization, and respect for its customers.The people who work at this particular credit union don't like to accept and answer telephone calls. The people who work there aren't fair and do not treat everyone equally. The staff are culturally biased. How can you approve a loan request and then three weeks later say you can"t? This particular financial institution is ran and operated by the most unintelligent and incompetent individuals. It is recommended that one does not use this particular financial institution for any type of financial services. You will be better off selecting a financial institution that makes you feel welcomed, that can serve your financial needs, and that can help you meet your financial goals.

Terrible customer service, called credit union for or five times Saturday morningstarting at 10:30am didn't receive a callback. They don't answer the phone. Credit union member since Saturn daysfrom the beginning.

I started my account in Spring Hill and the staff their was amazing! I have done a lot of business here and was disappointed when I attempted to inquire on a car loan at this Columbia location. The lady in the office did not seem interested in helping and came off rude when I approached her after no one came out into the lobby to greet me after sitting for some time. Although I recently moved to Columbia, I have no problem driving to Spring Hill for great service!

One specific teller (maybe all of them do it out of disrespect) will not HAND you your items or money back after you have handed them to her. There’s no way she doesn’t know how RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL that is.

I was very pleased with the service I received. They helped me open an account even with less than perfect credentials. We all had a rough spot and they were very understanding and willing to help. I like to bank with local banks vs the big banks. I feel like it should be a good fit for me. Hoping for a great relationship with this credit union.

The people here were awesome! The do their absolute best to get you what you need and are very friendly the entire time. The understand each persons situation and don’t act A++ highly recommended!
