Beware: With so many people cutting the cord on cable it looks like cable companies would learn something. For starters, when Spectrum tell you a "Price" for 12 months... it's very common for them to raise your price after 3 months by $5 for "equipment". Secondly, even though a new customer (with no payment history) receives a special price of $49.99 a month, don't expect to get this price for long. It will increase to $59.99, but after you complain, you can get a reduction to $54.99. However, what prompted this review and what I find disgusting behavior is the ACP Credit. At first they actually gave the credit. Now, it's increased to $84.99 and with the credit $54.99... hmmm exactly what is use to be. See this?? They are stealing your ACP Credit!!

I called to schedule disconnect for Jan.13, but I was told to call back after January 5. That was a bummer, but I was happy to know I can drop off my cable boxes at the UPS STORE! That is a relief!!!

I had Charter in St Louis and when we moved to Columbia in March Charter wasn't avaliable at my address so we turned our equipment in to the location in Columbia and thought that was that but now Charter has turned me into collections for not turning in my equipment. I will never use charter again.

Worst internet ever. You pay for 1g and only get 5-100 Mbps causes constant buffering, blurry tv, internet lag, cannot use VoIP, download very slow and all they say is "reset your modem" that does not work and sometimes slows down further. But you can bet that the Spectrum ads will play and tell you how good they are then you get another network error

Bad reception on channels 4 ,5 ,75 and sometimes others happen alone on weekends all the time has never worked right for years. But still being overcharged for service. Bill Just keeps going up increased over 100 dollars in the past year getting ready to get rid of spectrum

Spectrum double charged me and refuses to refund it back stating it will be applied to my next bills. Also hanging up on me multiple times after waiting on hold for half a hour. Find another service provider.

I had to return a modem where I had upgraded. I got there about 9 but them didn’t open until 10. When I saw an employee going to the door about 9:15 I asked if he would take it in and when they open I could come in with my canes. He said sure but I can bring you your receipt out here. He didn’t have to do either but after about 15 minutes or so before they opened he brought my receipt. Thank you Spectrum and the kind man that works for you!

Service so amazingly poor that they make AT&T and Comcast look good. My service was installed over 4 weeks ago, but after multiple phone calls and complaints, I still have a nice bright orange cable running through my yard awaiting burial. Not only is the pricing ridiculously high, but the cable box lists each channel several times as a regular broadcast, standard definition and high definition, so while it looks like you might be getting 300 channels, you are only getting 100 channels, with each one listed 3 times. For a hard wired cable connection, the picture quality is also far less than what I experienced with DirecTV and oddly enough, with more outages than the satellite. The service is so terrible, I wouldn't even recommend it for people that I don't like.

I’ve dealt with this company for months and I’m not even a customer and would never become one after their customer service. They have an unburied cord ran across my entire yard and driveway!! I’ve called too many times to count with promises to be removed and yet 6 months later and it’s still here?

I am upset about not being able to get a Home Phone line turned on,,when I got this service I ask for a home Phone and now a yr later I don't have a phone,if I can't get it ,,I will be finding another service.I am happy with my TV and internet but if I can't get a Home Phone line then I don't want it.

I was thinking about switching my service to spectrum, until I was sitting the a business that was having a horrible issue. The companies business phone been changed without the business owners knowledge. The supervisor/ manager Cory, was rude to the business owner and seemed to try to make her pay another installment fee. After the business owner put the call on speaker the supervisor/ manager seemed to change his attitude and try to help. I do business with the small business owner frequently and I've personally witnessed 3 different occasions that the phone hasn't worked. Doesn't seem like a good way to do business or keep customers happy. If this is how they treat business customers makes me wonder how they'd do regular customers.
