Stans Market is a humble roadside stop and restaurant right off the expressway, a popular and decent stopping point for many travelers and truckers going along Interstate 65. It is known for its delicious home cooking and traditional Southern meals, with a great menu selection that includes all-day breakfast. The food is very good and satisfying, featuring items like country ham, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and cornbread. The service is generally fast, pleasant, and efficient, though the place can sometimes be a bit short-staffed and busy, which can stress the staff. While many experiences are positive, there can be occasional lapses in hospitality. The management is understanding and works to resolve any issues satisfactorily. The store attached offers a lot of options, including a gift shop with items celebrating Southern culture, though some decorations depend on one's perspective. The bathrooms could be better maintained, with occasional issues like missing soap. The owners have modernized to keep up with competition, making it better in some ways though not what it used to be. Prices have risen with inflation. Overall, it provides a great experience, and customers are glad to see this small place staying in business.
Great stop off for gas station snacks or a sit down meal at the restaurant. I recommend the Pork Chops.

The bathrooms were clean and it appears to be a nice store but virtually nothing had a price on it. I wanted to buy some snacks and a souvenir but there were not prices on 90% of the items in the store. Didn't buy anything.

Still a favorite when passing through. Stan's Country restaurant is a must! Large menu selection sure to please anyone. Fresh made to order and GOOD. Their fried green tomatoes are just like grandma's. We appreciate their offerings, genuinely friendly staff, and large portions...great prices too!
