We are closing our accounts due to two things and we only had them for like 2 months.1) Their "overdraft protection" actually makes your accounts show that there is $500 more than there actually is. So if you forget to make the subtraction in your head, you will get a $35 charge. I'm guessing this is on purpose so they can milk the forgetful. Our last bank (before we moved here), and the three before that, had no charge for an overdraft so long as you had money in your savings. No other bank we've had shows an additional bogus amount in checking. Super lame.2) Their mobile app and web offerings suck super bad. They are as lame as those when the internet was new 20+ years ago. You cannot do most things other banks can today with the app. And to make it worse, they require phone calls with a person like we're in the 1950s for several kinds of tasks. Most other banks can do everything instantly within their app without trying to get ahold of a person. Lame.

My boyfriend had a fraudulent charge on his card in January after being mistreated at a different location we came to this one. The woman filed a report and we left feeling satisfied only to later get a call saying that the card was physically swiped despite being over an hour away. They kept insisting that he let someone else borrow his card and that he would have to file a police report. Today he had a second fraudulent charge at a different place while he was at work. Being the second fraudulent charge in a year over $20 and the bank being unsupportive and not having the customers best interest in mind; we will be taking our business elsewhere as well as filing a report with the FDIC.

They charged me at 2 different restaurants @ separate days for over $20 each even though I never was anywhere near them and they tell me they can't so anything about it cause my debit was physically swiped, I tell them I had the card on me at those times and want those places and they say, Ok did you let someone use your card, NO IT WAS ON ME AT ALL TIMES!!! They lie and chest you out of your well earned money... DON'T USE THESE BANKS!!
