There is one employee who makes it very unpleasant to return online orders in the store. He has dark short hair & glasses & has been there for quite some time. I used to enjoy shopping at GNC but when I moved to Cookeville from Nashville, this store did not have pricing nor deals posted & I had to ask about almost everything I wanted to purchase. It made it such a hassle I quit shopping in the store & started ordering online. This same employee even argued with me that items I purchased were not part of the BOGO sale (which is why I purchased them in the 1st place). He argued with me about how much I payed for items even tho he could clearly see my order because he had it pulled up. Eventually he said "I think they want you to ship the items back yourself, they just make it so hard to return things in the store." But that's not true, it is just this particular employee. I can only assume returns negatively affect his sales bc he has done this to me several times now. I like GNC products but I do not shop in the store anymore bc of this. I will still continue to return items in the store if I am not satisfied because that is literally stated in the return policy & there is no other GNC around. Someone should address this employees behavior towards customers. I normally don't leave reviews but I know if he has done this to me several times then this is regularly practiced by this employee & I don't want others to go through this hassle. It took over 15 minutes to return 2 items & he was literally looking at my receipt on his computer acting like a pompous idiot. He even offered me $2 for an item I paid over $20 for, and $9 for the other, claiming because I didn't have my receipt (even though he was able to easily pull up the purchase & could see exactly what I had paid for it) that he could only give me the lowest price the item had ever sold for. I had the card I purchase the items on & it said it on my receipt but he insisted he call someone to see about how to refund the purchase, just dragging out the refund process even longer. Hopefully someone can address this.

Used to be good but now their hours of operation are too unreliable lol. They’re never open on time. Will be taking my business too Nutrishop.

Horrible staff what happened to the male manager who was so helpful the store has went down hill in the last year and half. Bring back the old staff these kids now just sit behind the counter and don’t help or they play on a switch

My family and I have been shopping here for years. Usually we have a wonderful experience. Today that changed. There were two (VERY RUDE) women having a conversation and couldn’t be bothered to do there job. My family and I will no longer be shopping here! My advice is find a different store if you know that you will have questions or need help.

I went to return some unopened products that I didn’t need. The employee told me he wasn’t going to accept the return because I wouldn’t find a better deal on the items I had anywhere else. Waiting to hear back from customer service now.

I like this store. What I dont like is how they dont control what inventory they get for their store. Their corporate office does? That's backwards in my opinion.

To the dark hair male employee. My family has been shopping at GNC for several years now. Employees have always been so helpful through the years till you. I realize that things have been crazy in our community with Tornadoes and now Covid. BUT, you could smile alittle more and not be so rude when customers have guestions. 4 times now in the last 2 months my family has went into to buy and walked out commenting on your rudeness. Im sorry but just thought you should be aware that you draw more bees to honey then you do with vinegar. By the way I was one that witnessed this. Your a handsome guy, now smile and enjoy your work with the people. We are all under stress. Thank you for being there and being open.
