I appreciate the convenience Great Clips offers, especially given the limited number of haircut options in town. The ability to walk in without an appointment is helpful, and the staff are generally friendly and efficient.
However, I was surprised by the cost of my recent visit. I paid $30 for a simple trim that included scissors, a basic cut, and a light beard shave. For a chain that markets itself as affordable and quick, that pricing feels a bit steep.
Another concern is the online check-in system. While I understand the intent is to manage flow, it consistently prioritizes online check-ins over walk-ins—even if someone has been waiting longer in person. That feels backward. In my view, those physically present should not be bumped behind someone who just checked in remotely.
Overall, Great Clips delivers on convenience, but pricing and fairness in the check-in process could use improvement.

Yuck! Rush them in rush them out factory cuts. I style me hair by parting in the middle and feather the sides. I asked the dude if he could do it, yes yes. After about 10 minutes he said he was done. The cut was NOT feathered, the front was left uncut. I held it up and said, this will not work. I'm paying $20 for this. He then went into a mode of frustration and butcher. I will not go back. He was more interested in getting me out of the chair a fast as he could.

Absolute idiots that work here, they can not follow simple directions and screwed up my hair style so bad that I had to get a buzz cut. Thanks for ruining 1 year of growing out my hair because you people can't follow basic instructions.
Perhaps if your women would learn to do less trying to make small talk and focus more on cutting hair then you wouldn't have so many angry customers.
