Okay so we went in a few days ago and a girl named Vos was working. I asked about discounted drinks and she pointed to a picture and didn't talk or answer me. Fine no biggie, just left and my husband was having problems with discount loading to card, same girl is working today (6/13/25). Now all of sudden she can talk and wants to be rude and have an attitude. I will not be stopping there if she is working.

Been coming to this store for years, not just out of necessity but because of requirement. It's the closest store to my home. I'm super pleased that Mapco had extended their hours to appease everyone, even though this location closes from 12 to 3 I still haven't cared. I have been a patron for years but to be denied service for beer because my son is with me? Wild work.
Still love the business! Gas is cool to have but it'd be alot sweeter if you could train a different sasquatch to run the counter, I feel slightly bad becauseim not too sure if this women was special needs, please delete this if I'm out of line,, she seemed coherent but the smell claimed otherwise.. no sense of decorum or actual understanding of our fine states laws. Boooo Mapco, boooooo

This used to be my favorite gas station in Cookeville until some of their recent hires. Your card kiosk errors are not an excuse to berate your customers much less snatch their debit cards from their hand. After snatching my card from my hand and cleaning the chip herself, an action I had already performed multiple times including the time after she snarled at me to clean the chip, it still couldn't read in the station's kiosk and she just decided to lie and say my card had declined. I ultimately decided trying to defuse the situation was pointless and used the pump to pay without any hitch. While pumping my gas another customer exited, complained, and asked me if the cashier had an attitude problem. Yes she does. I will probably be getting my gas from elsewhere for now.

Good clean 24 hour gas station but they sometimes close 1 am to 2 am and sometimes they are just closed

We love close and are in here often, everyone is always very nice and they're especially good at not letting the struggles of life come out at customers, quite rare these days. Plus my wife adores the blueberry coffee!
Not to mention the rewards program has gotten us a gal of gas for 2.79 when the prices were 3.25ish so it can work very well along with straight cash value rewards as well as drinks and other stuff.

My favorite gas station since I moved to Putnam County back in 2012!Being a member of the Mapco Rewards program is also a good thing! Especially when you drive nothing but trucks. Lol. I got gas there today (February 22nd 2024) for 36¢ per gallon, using my rewards points, filling up the Suburban from empty to Full, with only $9.48. I was kinda nervous about that at first because I didn't think it would let me make that transaction, but, it did. Gas today was $2.79 and with my Rewards points, I got $2.43 off per gallon. I'd definitely recommend the rewards program to those of you who love going to Mapco. If you love buying their merchandise from the inside of the store, then you can earn rewards points from the purchase of those items, that can go towards dollars and cents off per gallon when you fill up. They send you an email weekly around Wednesday/Thursday for an extra amount off per gallon that you don't have to use rewards points for. It's usually an amount that's already added to the everyday 3¢ off that you get for becoming a Rewards member. Sign up for one today at any Mapco, not just Cookeville's location.
