My boyfriend and I have struggled with the home internet gateway. For the last year it would sporadically reset. I did trouble shooting with tech services. They tried hard to be helpful and sent me a new gateway. That didn’t help. I need to preface this by saying we are near a tower and half 4 bars. Great service that way.I then took it to the store on Jefferson Ave. and spoke to Marcus. He installed a new SIM card. Unfortunately, that didn’t solve the problem. We then bought a new TV thinking an upgraded tv might help. It did not. We went back to the store on Nov. 30 and spoke to Wayne and Marcus. They were so kind and went above and beyond to resolve our problem. I have been a cell customer with T Mobile for about 3 years and am glad to continue.

I've had very good experiences with T Mobile every sense I switched over to them in 2019. I went by yesterday 09-11-2023 to the Jefferson Ave store (suite #106) to switch over from my old phone upgrading to a new phone. "Kurstin" I hope I'm spelling it right. She was very nice and very professional. She wasn't pushy and was very accommodating. I recommend T Mobile and asking for her. The prices for me were always reasonable and the other staff working there were nice as well. Thanks again Kurstin!Anthony (Tony) T.

This review is exclusively aimed at T-Mobile service overall, not of this local store or its employees.I am paying monthly for a no-contract plan. I switched from Total Wireless due to bad service through Verizon towers. T-Mobile offered better 5G and overall coverage when I checked out their map, and I definitely had better service when I signed up for where I was. However, here lately, I have been getting my service dropped regularly. Either I will have no service at all, I will have an "E" beside the signal, it will be on "GPRS" (no idea what that means), or it will drop to LTE but move as if it is on 2G. There has been no consistency to this that I've found.Sometimes I'll get service back within a few minutes, but once last week I had no service for at least 5 straight hours and missed an important call. Sometimes restarting my phone will help, but it did absolutely nothing the day I had no service for hours. I tend to be in the same places every day where I normally get good service, so I don't know why I randomly will have none. I don't know if being on no-contract means that priority is given to contracted plans during high traffic periods while my data gets throttled, or if a tower is dysfunctional, or what.As someone who is trying to start Ubereats, I absolutely need consistent service, and I have not been getting that. Since I spend a fair amount of time on Wi-Fi, I may have this problem more often than I am even aware of; I do have Wi-Fi calling turned off as I've been told that can sometimes interfere with receiving the network signal somehow, but even turning Wi-Fi off completely doesn't help during the times when my service randomly gets bad or non-existent.My phone is newer, software fully updated, I don't have many apps, and I have done all the basic troubleshooting regarding it. I do not believe my phone is the issue, I believe it is something on T-Mobile's end. I contacted their chat support (the company, not the local store I'm reviewing) and that was entirely unhelpful basic troubleshooting that I had already done. So I unfortunately do not have an explanation for this problem and expect to continue dealing with it until I switch carriers, which I will likely do if the issue persists. It is my hope that it's just a tower, it gets fixed, and I can delete this review soon enough, but that feels unlikely.

Our local T-Mobile dealer is in Oak Ridge but we just happened to be in this area today. The employee was very knowledgeable and friendly. We have had services with them for a couple of years and never had an issue.

After 10 years, I never in my life thought of using a cell phone company again, because of the bad experience I had with Verizon and Straight talk due to excessive charging and lousy service especially in Monterey Tennessee.Until I found T-mobilwith the best offers and cell phone brands.I have been using this company for two months, and I tell you, the local service is great, and the international coverage is excellent, with no extra charges and no hidden fees.I am very grateful to the agents at the Cookeville Tn office. for your honesty and help and patience to transfer all my apps and contacts to my new cell phone.P.S.The new Samsung S22 ultra with the best camera I've seen so far.

Great staff! We had a terrible experience with Spectrum and came over to t-mobile, they had great plans, and a staff that worked with us to make sure we got what we needed. Stopped in with questions and they answered them accurately and explained what the process was. Went back for an upgrade and they handle it with no hiccups. Glad we made the switch and couldn't be happier

I bought a phone and plan because on the website it said I would have service at my address. I took the phone home. I had no service. I tried the next day. Same thing. I called back up there, and was given the cust omer service department number. I called and spoke to a nice gentleman that told me I would have to drive 20 miles to get service. They can actually pinpoint service but it doesn't show that on the website. So back to T-Mobile to return the phone. I got all my money back except a restocking fee, plus it took me gas 2 times to go there and my time. I really liked the staff, very helpful and friendly. I really liked the phone too.

Hey T-Mobile, when are you going to fix the towers in Cookeville. I was pushed into getting a 5G phone but now I can't use wireless data in town. What's the use of unlimited data when I can't surf the web, look up a business or phone number, watch Netflix in a waiting room or do anything other than make a call or send a text in my hometown?

This t-mobile particularly is trash. The employees who worked there yesterday June 6th.2022 were beyond rude and disrespectful. Had no clue what they were doing. Sent an authorized user we had on our account temporarily sent her on her way with “one” out of two sims. We live in a whole different state, trying to get two phones to my fiancés mother. The whole process was way to complicated. When we sent her into the store they were rude. We had a Supervisor reach out to them directly and they hung up on him. I’ve never heard a supervisor actually inform me they were completely disappointed in a store before and penalizing them for their actions before. So this speaks Loudly of their service.
