“Really cool store with all sorts of vintage stuff to check out. Some stuff I haven't seen in years, other stuff I've never even seen in person. Definitely a 'something for everyone ' type of store.”

“This Bethel location is one of three in the area and usually has the widest selection. This is the best one to visit first. The pricing is fair and about what you would expect from a secondhand store. Every now and then you can find a really solid deal if you take the time to browse.

I have also visited the Sparta location several times, and it is another good option. The main difference is that their inventory can fluctuate quite a bit depending on the week. Some visits there is a lot to choose from, and other times the shelves feel a little picked over. That is just part of the thrift-store treasure hunt.

The third location on Interstate Drive in Cookeville is unfortunately the weakest of the three. Prices tend to be noticeably higher, and the selection is usually about half of what you find at the other Bethel stores. Pricing also feels inconsistent, with similar items marked very differently.

The building recently received a facelift on the outside, which looks nice, but it feels like the focus should have started inside first. Compared to the other two locations, the overall shopping experience just is not as strong.

Overall, if you are nearby and want the best chance at finding a wider selection, the Bethel location near Algood is a great place to start. It usually has more to browse through, which makes the experience more enjoyable if you like the hunt. Plus, the pricing is pretty reasonable.”

“Love Goodwill! I go there at least 5x's a visit. I visit my sister's every spring and fall in Livingston. I have been buying Christian books from there for years now. I've gotten everything from books to purses to dresses & more. Top quality used products from this store. I have to say that the prices have become quite expensive lately. It's really quite sad that I can buy new things at Walmart for about the same prices as there used products ...”
