The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The quality of their work exceeds similar work I've had done at the podiatrist. Their equipment shows a bit of wear and tear but I'm sure it will be replaced at some point.

We went in for a mother daughter mani pedi. We wanted basic one color on toes. My nails were cut deep into the corners and rounded as a finger nail? Then two other toes my nails were cut so short had to put a bandaid over them to wear my shoes. My daughter's pedicure went well. For our manicures, I ask for glitter sprinkled half way down. The lady filed my nails at all sort of angles. My thumb nail looks like a 45 degree angle. Then she filed all my naturals nails down below skin level leaving 0 length. My polish was uneven, clumpy, and none of the nails looked the same (in this case was a bad thing). My daughter has long, hard beautiful natural nails. The nail tech filed the tops of he nails to "get the paint to stick" and used a lead pencil to try to draw a snow flake. The polish was so thick on top and was caked under her nail. You could not make out the snowflakes. We were charged: $220 for services. Our nails chipped after a single day of leisure. My cuticles are cracked, peeling and splitting after the manicure. While the staff is friendly, services are not worth the time. I would not recommend this salon.

The people are very friendly, but the work done on my aunt and I’s nails was very poor, it has only been three days and my aunt chipped her acrylics and my gel polish is already flaking off. The gel polish I had done wasn’t applied very well either and I can still the color of my nail underneath the polish. They also really irritated my cuticles. They say they guarantee their work for a week but neither me or my aunt plan on going back. That being said the staff was very friendly, I hope they do well.

Was not happy with the service. Did not receive what was requested. Manicure was atrocious, asked for rounded got square. At pedicure was not very thorough. Will not be back.

Visiting in Cookeville, my hometown, recently for a self-care week. Decided to take a friend's recommendation and get a pedicure, MY FIRST EVER!! The service I received regarding scheduling and the follow up call to see how I enjoyed my pedicure were wonderful, but did not surpass the phenomenal care and attention given to me by Chris. He was a wonderful calming presence. I will definitely make this one of my hometown destinations when I come visit!

I made an appt 3 months out. Got there and Jason says he doesn't have me down. Even though I have the messages where I booked it with him 3 months ago. He offers to make me another appt but makes sure I know that would be months out as well. Won't waste my time.

I have been searching for a nail salon I love in Cookeville for over a year and finally decided to give this place a shot because of the good ratings and oh did they deliver!! Joanna is their dip specialist and she is a nail artist sent from heaven. I spent around 3.5-4 hours there, but it was worth every minute. She is a perfectionist who will not leave a single nail with a flaw. I came in with the worst nails: bitten, jagged, overgrown and frayed cuticles. I left with gorgeous fall/Thanksgiving themed nails. She is friendly and makes every minute you are there amazing. I will absolutely be going to Joanna for all my dip polish needs as long as I love in Cookeville. I highly recommend her! And I got all that for just 35 dollars (not including the tip I left her)!! If you are looking for an amazing set of nails, Joanna is the girl you need! :)

Referrals and great ratings are well earned. From the moment we made our reservation (which was a week in advance) to our arrival, we were treated incredibly well. My husband, son (12) and I drove from Crossville to Cookeville for pedicures (+ manicure for my son's gorilla nails). The spa chairs have a massager for not only your back, but your bootie. LOVEEE the bootie massage. My son and husband had Angela work on their nails. GREAT JOB ANGELA! my son is a prolific complainer if a pedicure is done even slightly wrong. (Yes, I know, my son is spoiled, I own it!) He was impressed. My husband truly enjoyed his pedicure. I had Chris work on my pedicure. WOW! I unfortunately have ingrown toe nails. At all prior nail salons with the exception of 1 (and I have been to more than I can count in over 30 years) all have left my ingrown nails half in, and hurting so badly they have to stop. I usually have to wait until the blood stops or the swelling goes down before I can have someone else attempt it, and always, it was a 2-5 minute ordeal. I have a high pain threshold, but not that high. Chris literally had it out in seconds. I didn't even have a chance to say "what the hell"... that alone is worth the trip. Also, there is the pedicure massage, and then there is the "Chris", damn! unlike any pedicure massage I've ever had. My muscles are almost always tight (I think part of it has to do with the fact that I am a diabetic) and he was able to relax them. That is no easy feet for me. (Yes, I know I spelled feat wrong). Hands down, going back again. Next time, I will throw in manicures for me and husband and not just my son. I saw the airbrush examples of Chris' nail artwork, and it is impressive! Obviously artwork like that will take time, so schedule accordingly. My opinion, GO! We will be. (Chris, I'll have to take a closer look at your hands ;))

LOVE LOVE Unique Nails....they make you feel so at home ! I just moved here from WI and this was first place to go to and I will also return ! :) I had the best pedicure !!! It's friendly and cute and clean :)
