My prescription for heart pills was due to expire and the last day to fill it was on the 16th. We called Walgreens on Willow in Cookeville on the 15th and asked them to get the prescription from Crossville Walmart and fill it and they said they would. I went to pick it up on the 16th and they said no one from Walgreens called to get the prescription but they'd do it right now. I went to pick it up today and again they said no one at Walgreens had called to get it and since the prescription is now expired I'm out of luck. It's for my heart meds that I take 2 times a day. This Walgreens doesn't care about your health at all!!

Called to have my 4 year old grandsons medication moved from Kroger because they did not have it in stock. He needed it urgently as he was very sick and had 104 temperatures, and we lived 45 minutes from Walgreens. They told me 1 to 1.5 hours to get it moved and filled. Ok, no problem. I went in 1 hour and 15 mins after the call to Transfer, and the Tech was extremely rude. She told me they had not gotten the prescription moved yet, that the insurance card I had for him wasn't correct, that most people have another in an argumentive manner. She was dismissive and acted like I was disturbing her. All while I'm dealing with a sick little boy. I asked if the insurance information could be transferred from Kroger and asked how long it might be. She told me 2 hours, this is after I have now waited 1.5 hours from original request to have it moved there. With a very sick child, I could not wait. Now I will have to drive 45 mins home and do the 1.5 round trip back after I take him home. This confirms why I don't use walgreens pharmacy. They don't treat you like a person. The rude and dismissive behavior was quite the turn-off.

I'm really disappointed with Walgreens. I called to check if my prescription was in stock before my dr ordered the rx and they said yes. But then, I got an automated call and email saying it wasn't but that they ordered more. The next day I called and they said it was delayed because of “snow” but assured me it would be ready the next day, but when I called on Friday, they were really rude and said it hadn't even been ordered. Now, I can't get my prescription until next week and I'm going to be without my medication. Really poor service. Terrible . 0 out of 5 stars. Sux dix. Do not recommend.

This pharmacy’s wait time is absolutely awful. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Get ready to wait over 30 minutes at any given time.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would. My son has been out of his seizure medication for a week. They cannot tell me when it will be there. Supposedly it was ordered 6 days ago. Now he’s having seizures. I’ve left a message with his Dr to please find a pharmacy that can help us! It’s not just this medication, I have problems every single month getting refills on multiple much needed medications. This is ridiculous and unacceptable!!!!

This pharmacy is below average when it comes to customer service.The pharmacist hung the phone up on me I’m the middle of the call because he did not want to answer my question on how to fill my prescription correctly on time so I can make sure I have a medication and not skip a day.Feels like the pharmacy does not care at all about there customers.

I love Walgreens and pick up prescriptions in other towns often when traveling. My home town Walgreens has pharmacy staff who care and listen to concerns. Unfortunately, I have not gotten the same experience at the Cookeville Walgreens. In the future, I will be sure to fill my prescriptions before coming to Cookeville.

Bless this place for all the hard work they do every day. Countless times I have seen some nasty acting people when picking up my meds, all over things the workers do not control themselves.

I am so tired of this Walgreens. I’ve been using them for years, but I’m getting my prescriptions moved ASAP. The same female pharmacist that usually helps me is so rude and dismissive. I thought they got paid to fill your medication on time and to help explain your medication to you the first time you get it? At this point, it feels like they’re getting paid to hold you in line for over an hour and treat you like a burden for no reason. I’ve been in customer service for 6 years … I know it can be frustrating, but even at my worst, I would never dream of talking to someone the way I’m talked to. Take your prescriptions and time elsewhere, save yourself the trouble. :(

I have a 3 year old who needs life saving heart medication. We order the refill 3 days prior to it being out. They consistently do not have it, the app says pending. We call the morning we need it and they say, “We won’t know until the truck is unloaded, call back at noon”. Then we call back and they say they don’t know, they go ahead and bill the insurance so it can’t be filled anywhere else. Turns out it will not even be in that day. Then they act like you asked them to do your taxes, when you ask to call the other facility in Lebanon to fill the order and have insurance cover it. Since they claim they already have it filled. Go to Food City pharmacy instead.

The pharmacist at this location is very unprofessional. The cashier who checked me out insinuated that I was shoplifting a product… a product I handed to her to pay for. Walgreens can’t do anything right
