I sat outside the store early waiting for it to open. Workers stayed standing outside the building while everyone came and no one opened the doors. The store was open but doors locked. Workers on property didn’t state any reason for not opening. They went back into the car even seeing me waiting at the door. Will be choosing other dollar generals that was very rude.

Quit this location 1/31/25 After being with DG for 5years Due to the new manager Kyra being under the influence of Adderall, Being very disrespectful to all of our vendors and very inconsiderate to all of her loyal employees that had been there way before she started.. She was never there on time, And was always at least an hour or two late. Our store was robbed at GUNPOINT and my best friend was dragged around the floor with a gun to her head, And neither our DM or our manager informed any of the other employees of this incident. And our manager took the next day off.. Nobody ever called to checked on my friend including upper management! Nobody ever stopped by to go over safety procedures or anything with anyone. Everything was a lot better when LISA was The manager and DON was our district manager! Dollar General, you have failed us.You need to get it together!! Everybody Watch your back going into 9941 Macon rd STORE 16024!! That's why you won't see any of their former employees working under them at that location anymore! Cuz we all QUIT

I arrived at 7:45pm they left a sign on the door saying they woul be back at 8:30pm yesterday march 1st 2025 I went to krogers came back at 8:45pm they were still closed smh ridiculous they need to hire more staff

We just had the best experience at Dollar General, and it was thanks to one of the employees, Heather. She went above and beyond to help us figure out an exchange and did it with such a kind, compassionate, and professional attitude. We will be going back to this location for all future DG trips because of the stellar customer experience we had today. Thank you, Heather!

I do not know what is happening in the store in the last three weeks but there has been a drastic change up until three weeks ago. The store was nasty today I came in the floors are clean for the first time and I don’t know how much long probably years I am so impressed with Whatever changes been made in the store whatever you’ve done you’ve done the right thing

The “manager” Kelly that is ALWAYS in the back or OUTSIDE SMOKING by the entrance seems to have a smart mouth. I think you all should teach her that when a customer calls for help she should assist instead of thinking she is smart. I will be calling corporate because I am sick of the lack of help at this location and the smell of those god awful cigarettes. Thanks Kelly!!!

I understand they have to unload boxes. But they had the entire cleaning aisle full of boxes. No one can shop like that . Y’all losing money , when customers come in and the entire aisle is full of boxes where you can’t shop the products.
