I would not recommend Freddy T's for food to anyone and would definitely say go on down the road and eat at the Rib Cage or Nuevo Vallarta if you are in Pickwick and hungry. I grew up in Savannah and I haven't been to this restaurant in over 10 years and I had a friend from out of town with me, so I thought we'd give it go. We had just come from viewing the Christmas Lights at the Park and were relatively hungry after sitting in traffic for over an hour. Granted it was after 8:30 PM, but the kitchen hours are until 10:00 PM so I was expecting the same food as early dinner hours. My first sign should have been that our waitress, when I ordered the prime rib, suggested I get it not only blackened but also grilled or it's kinda mushy. The second sign should have been we are out of baked potatoes, but we have loaded mashed. I didn't have high expectations for any establishment that's primarily a bar/club on the weekends and transforms magically into a chapel on Sunday morning. Maybe that's just for the holders who slept in the parking lot Saturday night. So, I ordered the 12 oz prime rib prepared as our server suggested with the mashed potatoes and my friend had Dave's chicken and we also ordered cheese wedges. Bless our waitress it's not her fault the food was terrible, but geez man when the food looks like it's cold and as terrible as it was can't you say something to the cooks? See picture. The fried cheese wedges were some type of terrible oil based processed cheese and over cooked with a brown crust that tasted of used oil that had been too hot. The prime rib was primarily fat and tasted like absolute nothing aside from the blackened seasoning. I can't even imagine how it was cooked but it tasted like it had been precooked, frozen, then thawed and grilled. The waitress did mention something about it's regularly prepared by steaming. I don't know why prime rib would be steamed unless it had been precooked and frozen. Also, it was cold. The loaded potatoes were also cold and drowning in liquid sour cream with entire scope of unmelted cold butter. The chives were old green onion stems that stemmed as if they had been in the cooler for long enough to dry out and turn a light pale shade of green yellow. The rolls we were told were delicious so we waited for those. If delicious means tasted like someone opened a can of crescent roll dough, smashed it up a bit, rolled it out and sprinkled garlic butter salt on it then rolled it into balls and cooked it, then yes they were delicious. I won't even start on the chicken my friend had because I didn't personally taste it, but she only had a few bites. As, it's the holiday season and I was hungry, you can see I ate what I could and left ample tip with no complaints. However, if you are considering Freddy T's for anything other than alcohol or Jesus, go on down the road! For the two of us it was nearing a Ben, and definitely not worth the money and not really edible.

Great food and service! Great ambience! We were traveling the Great Loop the first time we were there and have been back twice in our travels!

Always a good time - decent food and reliable service- just don't go on holiday weekend unless you know to lower your expectations for service, time of food delivery and quality

I'm would give 0 stars if i could. From the time we walked into the restaurant the experience was bad. We weren't greeted by the hostess she just looked at us and we stood there and waited then all she said was "how many?" Then our waitress never refilled our drinks.. my husband got up and refilled his own drink with a water pitcher he seen. Pitiful. Then we asked for ranch and waited over 10 minutes for it while our waitress passed our table multiple times. I had to go upfront to ask for some ranch and stood there while multiple employees seen me but never asked if i needed anything so i asked the hostess for ranch. Our waitress then brought ranch later and lied saying she was too busy with another table to bring it. we asked for a manager to complain to and she mostly just made excuses. Then to top it all off the waitress came and argued with me about our complaints we made. Her names shonda by the way. Worst experience and shitty food too. save yourself the time and money and don't go.

Easy to find location. Cool space. Dead on a Friday night in March. The food was OK but overpriced for bar food. Their "boneless wings" (they were just fried chicken nuggets with sauce on the side), a quesadilla, sweet tea, and two Millers cost over $50. This was with absolutely no sides, not even fries. The staff was friendly and it felt relaxed.I'd probably give this place another shot during their busy season but skip the food.

Generally ok but prime rib offering was pre cooked and poor. Thin and overcooked. Sent back and replace with chicken. Should drop prime rib from menu. Chardonnay was warm. Need to keep wines at correct temps.

Walked in , placed our order, found a semi clean table. . Looked like the did not have enough help. Waitress picked a few things off tables and wiped at them. I looked between where tables were out together and it was full of crumbs off of food. It was sickening. Our burgers were dry... we won't be back. And I understand places are understaffed - but they could properly clean the tables.

Freddy T's has been around for years in this area and actually was a location a night club years ago that's whole other story. So a gentleman decided this location would be great place for a restaurant but not just any restaurant but one that has tropical theme and has a sports atmosphere to go along. Folks Freddy T's when it started was a awesome place to eat but you absolutely have to grow and change the menu to keep up with the times and taste for that matter. Some of these menu items have been on the menu since it's inception. The service there is great the servers all work hard and have a great attitude but the food selection just leaves you thinking where's the seafood selection, the variety the imagination you have to not only have to serve food it has to presented. The bar is their shining star, the bar tender has his stuff together his drinks are spot on and his attitude is just as good. I live here so this is hard for me to say so I'll split this one up a little. Would I recommend Freddy T's, it depends if your going for drinks and maybe an appetizer absolutely it's a great place. If your going for dinner, there are other restaurants that will be much better suited not that far away. My suggestion for the ownership at Freddy T's is take a trip to the coast review about three popular restaurants and make a menu that fits what your trying to maintain here in a small resort town of Pickwick, TN and make it epic!

We came in on a Monday night and were greeted with a smile and happy demeanor. We were sat immediately and were taken care of within minutes. The Bang n shrimp was awesome and the daves chicken was a unique spin on smothered chicken. Such a great selection of whiskey and wine to be chosen from. Staff was super friendly. Definitely suggest this place not only for the food but the atmosphere. Will definitely be back again!

Worst experience I've ever had while dining out hands down! We walked to the front door, it was locked. Staff just sitting around. They saw us and made no attempt to let u know they were not quite open yet so we tried another door. The set up of the place was super weird and confusing. We finally were granted access to the dining area and got seated. The waiter was less than steller right off the bat. I ordered a margarita. I got water with splash of lime. No joke. When held up to the light next to a glass of water it looked just like water! I asked for a frozen one and it was just as bad. I told the waiter I'd just rather have a bottled beer (ya can't mess up a beer) and the bartender insisted that he remake it again for me but it was not much different. We ordered apps. Loaded fries were cold and mediocre and the crab cakes were mush and fishy. Two crab cakes for almost 20 bucks. Menue made it seem like you'd at least get 3 or more. In the mean time, a couple of the guys from our group were making small talk with the "band" only to be told to scram bc they were already running late. Pretty rude but ok. We finally got our food. There were 12 of us. Not a single person was happy with their food. Our waiter was no where to be seen so we talked amongst ourselves and were trying each other's food. Not a single person ate theirs except for my husband and myself. We ordered prime rib. It was a ribeye steak that was drenched in liquid smoke flavor. It was tolerable and we were so hungry after riding all day. When the waiter finally showed back up, he tossed the bill onto the table and said "since you all caused a scene talking ab the food in front of other guests I'm asking that you pay your bill and exit the dining room. We were flabbergasted. We never had a single chance to ask the waiter or kitchen to rectify the horrible excuse for food. He never even asked how our meal was or apologized. Like the fish tacos were soaking wet. Not edible. The beef medallion were definitely frozen pork and smelled like cat food. Even the steamed veggies were gross and mushy. My son ordered a French dip that was also completely not edible. The Alfredo was like thick white gravy. And even my two smaller children gagged on the kids burgers. Our bill was over 200.00. So, as i was still finishing a beer and my husband had finally come from the arcade with the kids to eat, 3 huge old bearded "bouncers" came and said we had been asked to leave and they were there to remove us. I calmly stated that I was going to finish my beer I was being charged for and my husband was going to finish his "prime rib". They walked to the band and they all started loudly talking about us. It was evident that we had been made a spectical for the whole dining room. My husband paid for everything but the stakes while I took the children to the car. As we passed the kitchen entrance the staff was just chilling and smoking. Not a huge deal but didn't do much in redeeming any part of our experience. At some point, a guy from our group whome we do not know very well had said something ab fighting someone over being kicked out. Mind you, they also kicked our small children out of the arcade. I guess you're not supposed to complain about being overcharged for inedible food. . Anyway, the guy who supposedly threatened to fight was not in our presence at that time and left when we did so tho it was a "threat" he didn't stick around to actually do anything. So, about a mile down the road we get pulled over. THEY CALLED THE COPS ON US! Cop asks me what happened at Freddy T's. I said nothing except them trying to serve us cat food. Officer laughed and told us they don't get much respect or support from them until they want someone thrown out. He told us if we want good food and service to go to Kokomos in Adamsville. Thank you for the suggestion, officer Goode! We all had a good laugh with the nice officers who said they would never eat there either and could have told us how nasty

First off I would like to say that if it wasn't for our waitress (Emily) this would be a 1 star review. We were as a table of 7 in the front room. We ordered drinks and apps before a party of 12 sat down next to us. It took approximately 45 minutes to get our appetizers, while the table of 12 not only had their apps but entries as well. I asked for an Old Fashioned, a drink a beginner bartender should be able to make, and I was served some nasty fruity watered-down drink. After asking several times about the status of our food, we were told that the kitchen was backed-up. My daughter who is 2 had become fussy and inconsolable so we went for a walk and found a few issues. I'll say this..... there is no reason a manager/owner/whomever yell at another staff member infront of customers; that was unacceptable and very unprofessional. As far as the kitchen being backed-up, food could have gone out hot and correct if the cooks weren't outside smoking/on their phones. Now I understand you get hot and need a break, but never during a "rush". After an 1 1/2 hours we finally received food, and I wish I could say it was worth the wait. Half of the orders were cold and a portion were incorrect. Unfortunately to prevent further delays, we ate what we were served rather than asking for a re-fire. Emily apologized several times during the 2 hour wait and offered to comp us a free dessert. I laughed and said if the entire was any hint at the dessert, I'd be waiting an hour for a melted scoop of off brand ice cream. A member of our table spoke with the owner who blamed everything on not having staff. We went to pay as soon as we got the check, only to see several employees standing there doing nothing. Seems to me if a large number of your staff is standing around with idol hands, there should be enough staff to be put to work. Now let's talk the parking, since there are 3 or 4 businesses in one building, paved parking is limited. We had to park in the back gravel lot which was not a problem. When we attempted to leave, we saw that due to the parking lot not having proper drainage, has a ditch deep enough to damage tires and possibly a smaller car could become stuck. Luckily I saw it before backing all the way out. I will not be returning to this restaurant and highly recommend you not either!

I am completely disgusted. We waited 40 minutes (per usual) to receive food, but this time was different. Food came to us in unlabeled paper bags. By the time we discovered what food was what - and tasted the French fries - we were mortified. You are better off buying frozen pre-made chicken patties at a dollar store. Do not go here unless you want to leave extremely pissed off.

The food was pretty good at best (when we actually got it). The atmosphere was pretty unique but, this really does not help too much when the service made me inclined to rather squeeze lemon juice directly into my pupil. We waited for two hours and all of our food did not come out to this point. When we asked at the window for times on our food they said about her 15-20 minutes. We just left and decided that our time was better spent on the lake rather than sitting there hungry.

A little slow to get service, but it was on point once our waitress showed. Live entertainment on the weekends which was nice. No draft beer but an excellent selection of bottles. Cool, fun place when visiting Pickwick.
