Gary in the pharmacy is so unprofessional, I will never have another medication filled there and I highly recommend you do the same!

CVS pharmacy in crossville is by far the most inept so called drugstore that I have ever tried to access. For the last 6 months I have had regular, continuing prescriptions monthly. For the first 3 months, it was out of stock every month including one month that I was told I had to wait until the truck came and I didn't get my prescription for 7 days and ended up in the emergency room to get rescue meds to help in between. I'm 62 and I've been in my share of drugstores, but I've never seen the drugstore that didn't have drugs. I have prescriptions called in at the same time but I can never pick them up at the same time I have to drive 25 miles back to pick up prescriptions separately and I don't even know why. I walked in there Sunday June 30th and was told that I could not pick up my 30-day prescription because it was too soon. The reason being? There were 28 days in June.... On June 30th? I'm trying to find another drugstore that takes my insurance and doesn't close at 6:00 at night. And one that can tell the date and actually has drugs to fill prescriptions. Go to Walgreens.

Good convenient/pharmacy store. Convenient location, handicap parking, automatic doors, good variety, pharmacists on duty, friendly employees, runs good sales.

CVS pharmacy is so much nicer and more cheaper than Walgreens. Walgreens pharmacy had the rudest workers, they were ALWAYS so hateful it's like I dreaded going to get my medicine. I'm so thankful for choosing to change pharmacies.

So, ten minutes searching for an associate to ask a question, went to the back pharmacy register, to ask if someone was working up front, and the guy/cashier says "THEY HAVE SELF CHECKOUT", I said but that doesn't answer questions, and then he says "they can answer questions up there".No that wasn't a punch line.

The pharmacy employees are lazy and rude and make u do the work when the doctor needs to be called over a prescription they paged me in the store and gave me back my prescription and said the number was wrong on it and I asked her if she could call the doctor and she threw her hands in the air and was loud and rude and said ANY OTHER DAY BUT TODAY WE R TOO BUSY!!!!! thats very unprofessional! I called my doctor and my doctor called them gave them the right number and called me back and said the they fixed it and gave the right number and that the pharmacy said since I took the prescription I just had to bring it back and they would fill it so I brought it back and they told me they couldn't fill it cause the number again I said my doctor fixed it and they said no they have to call it in or do it electronically or I have to take it somewhere else I've called and asked questions on the phone and the guy said they were too busy ill have to ask when I get there I have been going to cvs for over 10 yrs and im now going to change pharmacies they r the worst!!!!

Meredith, the Pharmacist, is the most unprofessional and uncaring person I have ever spoken to. I do not know why she went into healthcare, but she was bothered by having to take care of patients and told me that she had to help everywhere and was too busy. I would be very scared to have a Senior go in and have a problem as I could not imagine how she would treat them. She hung up on me more than once and although I didn't mind, I would hate for grandparents to go through that.

Why has the pharmacy gotten so bad? My auto refills don't refill and it's takes them days to refill prescriptions. The guy I always see at the window has an attitude and seems miserable. And good luck getting someone on the phone.

This is the worst place in town. They need to shut this location down permanently. This entire store is such a joke. Worst place I've ever been forced to deal with!

This was the absolute worst pharmacy. I have switched to Kroger's in Crossville. But let me tell you about my experience first.
I was with this pharmacy ever since I was a child and back then they were great but they also had older, more experienced people working. These people were there until I became an adult. When these people left (or retired), and young blood came in, the pharmacy rapidly declined! They began filling my prescriptions late, they wouldn't auto refill prescriptions that were on auto refill and they wouldn't text me my prescriptions were ready (as was my preference). I gave them chance after chance for years.
I began getting fed up when my doctors would call in new refills and I never heard from the pharmacy - because they lost or never accepted my prescriptions! No surprise! They would lie Everytime and say my doctors did not call them in so it was a back and forth game of me doing their job for them every single time. Sometimes I would even have to go in person to my doctor's to sort the matter out. This was not good because two prescriptions I take, if I miss them I get very ill. Because of CVS this happened alot. They are playing with people's lives! When somebody dies and a family member sues, maybe they will learn their lesson. I dealt with this for months, until they refilled a prescription I archived that I didn't need and had to pay for (I even asked the lady if it was the proper prescription and she confirmed it was so I trusted her)... When I called the pharmacist, he hung up on me. This wasn't the first time. They hung up on me calls prior and acted like I was a nuisance when I had questions or concerns.
Now, I switched over to Krogers and even that I had to do their job for them. CVS refused to give my prescriptions over to Krogers. Kroger's called them 3 times and never got a response. I went to CVS about it and surprise, they lied again and said they sent them in. I went back to Kroger's and the pharmacist called them right in front of me, they only gave him 3 meds, one I'm not even taking. I had to call all of my doctors to send in new refills to Kroger's individually because CVS cannot get their act together. They got brain fogged people working there and can't handle their job. I would give ZERO stars if I could! Go to Krogers and save the hassle. Kroger's is on point and on time! So far, no problems and am VERY happy. As soon as my doctor's called in my meds they had them ready. No lies or excuses like CVS!!
