Most staff are friendly and helpful. Their customer service desk, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It is only staffed sporadically and too often takes much too long for staff to respond when assistance is requested. The bakery/deli is well stocked with a wide variety of both baked goodies and delicious fresh meats cut to order right off the bone! The meat department has butchers available who are friendly and eager to help educate you on cuts and selection of meat and aid you when requested in selecting from their well stocked selection of their fresh inventory. And if you don't see the size or quantity selection desired, they will gladly adjust and package an order to your specs.

It’s Easter Sunday, fairly busy with last minute shoppers and we need steaks cut. Van who works the produce was extremely kind and accommodating. He was fairly busy, and well in a world full of angry people that always love their jobs, clearly Van cares about his customers. So thank you Van.

Racist. If you’re black seriously don’t bother. I’ve had so many racist encounters. Seems like almost every employee and manager is racist. Once I told someone my receipt had a red line and the machine needed paper. They snapped at me. Once I said Nevermind to someone and she said got an attitude. Once I asked for help at the seafood department and I was felt standing there.

I make it a policy to not shop at places that only give you the advertised price if you have some stupid card that keeps track of everything you eat and drink. They sell that information to insurance companies and the like.

5 ? stars❗ I'd like to preface my comment by saying I never rate 5 ⭐. On this particular evening I went to Decherd TN Kroger at 9:00pm. I tried to hurry as I didn't need too much. By the time I reached the front to check out, Self-Check was the only option.?? As I headed for self checkout, the wonderful Tyler asked if I wanted to use Self Checkout. Idk if he remembered that I NEVER use Self Checkout or what.I replied that I didn't want to.Then the wonderful Amy (who was transferring to the Lewisburg store) chimed in and said that she would ring me up ?.Having worked in retail I know at a certain time drawers are counted and usually closed.Amy called me over to the register and Tyler emptied my cart onto the belt. ???. I was so relieved.Also felt special as they both went above and beyond to serve me. ??????. I can't say enough about these two. They are a real asset. They know their customers and aim to please.Thank you again Tyler and Amy, I appreciate you. ??

Left a coat there and the employee put it up for me when I return. My coat was stolen by someone who has access to the customer service counter.
