It's quiet., beds are comfortable and it was clean however to air only had one setting, the wifi was terrible, plug ins hanging out... Overall just needs some major upgrades

Stay somewhere else! This place was scary. Janky A/C, crunchy towels, bathroom held together by tape. Avoid this place. You deserve better.

I can't possibly say enough or find the words to express my gratitude for the staff. They went above and beyond to take care of us. Got in the room...it was so clean. Everything was WONDERFUL! I strongly recommend this place to other travelers. Thank you again for your hospitality. I will definitely be back.

Filthy. Children's scribbles on the walls of the lobby. Rude staff. The chair in the room was so filthy (stains) it couldn't be used. It sits behind an adult xxx store. Dogs were running freely and barking on the property. Drive to Jackson.

I travel and spend 200+ nights a year in hotels around the country. This is the most Roach Infested and Nasty place that I have ever stayed. Advertised as $52 a Night it was almost $90 the Fat Lady behind the desk had a Nasty Attitude and I for one would NEVER stay there again

I stay in room 207 and woke up to bed bugs. If you recently booked this room soon after it has been reported, you should probably contact an attorney because the chances of them treating is is slim to none. Avoid this place at all cost unless you don’t mind waking up covered in bed bugs.If you are a fellow UNION member working at BLUE OVAL, places ran like this do not deserve our HARD EARNED MONEY. I had purchased a 10 night stay and on the 4th night I woke up to something crawling on my leg. I quickly turned on the light and removed the blanket and noticed a swarm of small and big bed bugs. I have been traveling for 5 years now and this is the first time I have ever dealt with this. After quickly gathering my things and putting them in the bed of my truck I immediately went down to the hotel front desk and showed them a live one I had CAUGHT in a BOTTLE. The front desk worker noticed and agreed it was an issue, and told me a refund would be pushed through when the manager came in around 10 am. The next day I called Priceline ( who I booked through and spoke with about the matter the day it happened) and had them reach out to the general manager. This is when the manager basically REFUSED to give me a refund and basically told me to kick rocks. I completely understand things like this happen when you have hundreds of guests a month, but to basically be called a liar AFTER BRINGING A LIVE ONE TO THEM is absolutely insane. I should’ve noticed this place was not well kept when on the first night I pulled the AC filter out (because it wasn’t cooling) to see a huge amount of buildup on the filter. This isn’t a hard task to keep on top of, and it certainly hasn’t been touched in MONTHS I assume. The owner and general manager clearly do not care about the health and the condition of this place as long as the money keeps coming in. Equivalent of a slum lord if you ask me. I have attached pictures of the bed bugs, and the filter from the AC. The filter alone describes how this place is ran. Also there was some roaches periodically that popped up in the sink area. I attached a picture as well.Noteworthy details: BLUE OVAL WORKERS AVOID AT ALL COST

Worst hotel stay off my life. The mattresses are infested with BED BUGS, as I learned when I woke up in the morning, in pain. These things can carry diseases and a much more serious problem than people realize.I don’t think the sheets are being washed each time, I think they’re being pulled taught and retucked. Things broken in the room, missing lamps etc.The staff that works here are clearly not capable or willing to do the job. I would never stay here again if it was free. If I had this experience, I bet every bed is infested.

We stayed here last week, and unfortunately the place is completely disheveled. My husband was bitten multiple times on his side from something in the bed while he was sleeping. Choice hotels certainly is not inspecting this franchise owned branded property and it shows.There is also junk all over the place and the lobby is a disaster as well as behind the check in counter. Came in late at night and just needed a room to sleep. The young lady at the counter was great, but this place was scary and gross and felt a little bit like the setting for a "Saw" franchise movie.Ultimately, I just didn't feel safe and left, especially after reading the consistent 1 star reviews on this place. We ended up in a much nicer suite hotel 20 minutes down the road for just $30 more.Walkability: XXX adult store within walking distance. I'm positive you're within walking distance to any illicit drugs your heart desires

Overall a good place to say. Staff was great. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning. AC worked good. Only things I didn't like was the bathrooms are a little dated and I was charged double the internet price, but that's life.

Place is absolutely disgusting! Door to my room wouldn’t even close all the way, bed smelled like someone pissed on it after it was made, bathroom sink had blood in it, and previous guests dirty bathroom towels were still in the bath tub. They moved me to a new room that they said was recently renovated but it wasn’t much better. Housekeeping didn’t touch the room ONCE in the 4 nights I stayed even after asking twice! I couldn’t even get clean towels or more soap. Even Choice Hotels wouldn’t help with anything! Not only will I NEVER even consider staying in another Roadway, I will NEVER do business with any lodge under Choice Hotels again!

Bathroom needs a new ceiling and shower curtin. A/C is loud. Refergirator was rusty. Dirty microwave. No brekfast as advertised.But over all it was ok for the money.
