Store Manager will not take nothing back unless it has been 30 Days! Cashier was nice.

on 7/26/24, i went into the Dickson, bargain hunt to purchase some bird seed. I am healing from a broken leg and didn't want to walk the whole store. I asked this young man for help, not only did he walk me over to the 20# bags of bird seed, he loaded my cart with 10 bags, me not thinking, it so difficult to push. He pushed my cart to cashier and then wanted to take it out to my car. I found out he works weedends only, but I would like to give him a big shout out, not only for his attitude but the kindness he showed me.

Love love love this place!!! Still, love this place been looking for a heavy duty chair for less then 80 bucks and they had some with a pillow small attached cooler and very heavy duty great size got 2 of them at 25 dollars a piece great find!!!

Pay with cash because if you pay with card and the stuff is broken or doesn't work it'll take 3 to 5 business days to get a refund even though it takes 3 to 5 seconds to take it off your card.

Went to goodwill prior and then went inside the store. I have done this on plenty of occasions when I shop both stores back to back. One of the workers kept following me but I ignored it even though she was making me uncomfortable. She comes up to me and says do you need a cart? I denied because I have a policy of only getting what I can carry it’s how I don’t overspend while I’m shopping and I was also almost done at this point. I go into the next aisle and she says I can’t have my bag and I have to take it upfront. I asked if this policy was listed in their door because I didn’t see a sign walking in and I have shopped store by store plenty of times have never been stopped like this before. She says no but I’m a manager. Well that comment kinda took me back. I was simply asking about their policies and them being listed not sure what her being a manager has anything to do with their bag policy. I stated that if it’s their policy they need a sign so other shoppers can be informed. This manager followed me around the store, all the way upfront and watched me like a dog while I was trying to call my nana who was in the store so she could come upfront so we could leave. She also had a bag like mine but did not get stopped once. The managers need to learn their policies to give accurate information and to learn stating “I’m a manager” is not a correct or appropriate way to inform a customer about policies they are asking about. I would have gladly taken my bag to the car if I was stopped at the beginning of my shopping since I walked right past her when I walked in but she proceeded to follow me around instead and made me uncomfortable. Please put a sign on your door if this is an actual policy and please train your managers on polices and how to handle customers because “no but I’m a manager” is such a rude way to handle and talk to a customer wanting to learn policies.
