I went in to open an account for my business trust; everything went well and they said they were sending me documents to e-sign to open the account. A couple hours later they send me an email out of the blue saying my trust was denied an account so of course I wanted to know why. Never had a single issue opening an account. My credit is good and I keep roughly a quarter million dollars in rotation.
Their response: we’re looking into it and we’ll call you tomorrow.
I call the next day around 3 because they haven’t reached out. Lo and behold…they didn't work today. Not sure why you'd tell someone you'll call them the next day when you know you won't be working, but I digress.
I follow up for several days. No answer for several days, just an auto-reply of: ‘we’re still trying to get an explanation.’
So I'm following up and waiting for an explanation, then out of the blue they just send an email that they already ’provided the reasons’. Either the 10 days I was waiting on an explanation was just me misunderstanding, or gaslighting is a company policy here.
Completely unprofessional.

I like FirstBank because of the relationship. Levi Plaster approached me and started earning my business. I’ve opened accounts and did loans through Levi. He’s always there to support me. The tellers are always helpful.

Went to this branch today and was told they couldn't deposit my check!!! No further explanation, just basically "no". I've had an account with firstBank for 11 years. I also deposited a check from the exact business and the exact dollar amount on 7-8-2024 with no issues. I'm sure I could be considered several things but I am not a thief and I don't appreciate being treated like one! I will not be doing business at the Dickson location again.

Been banking here for 23 yrs.The reason is that I always get good service by phone, in person, or drive thru. I also like the free Notary service to bank customers.

I’ve been banking at first bank for many years. I’ve never, not one time, had a bad experience. It’s full of great people that would truly help you anyway they could. I’d strongly recommend them to anyone.
