I went in for the chicken strip dinner.the biscuit was hard.the chicken was chewy and not tasty.jojo potatoes were good and so was the Mac n cheese. So not worth the 9 bucks with tax I paid. On the flip side the place was clean inside and the folks were all super friendly. I'm not in the area much ,so if I do come back it for sure wont be for the chicken, which is what my 1 star rating is for.however I do give 5 stars for their friendliness and clean store

So I went to put air in my tire at this station... It's one of those coin or credit card air pumps. And the price was the first ridiculous thing about this it was $2 for change and $2.50 for a card. How much does air cost? So there was nothing on the machine stating that it only took quarters. So I put two dimes in a nickel end and it didn't give me credit for it. I then put a quarter in and you guessed it, it gave me credit for it. So I dug deep into my pocket, and I put in all the quarters I had which turned out to be six, which was, come to find out since I didn't know how much it was going to cost when I started putting quarters in. Any other machine that I've used recently or in my entire life never has taken more than six quarters to get air. So, I walk all the way across the parking lot into the store and told the cashier my situation. I set the change on the counter and she acted like she wasn't going to give me two quarters for the change that I had since I had no cash on me. It was at this time I said to her I need to hurry up and get those two quarters in the machine or it's going to eat up the six I already have in there. Her response was, well we're not supposed to be opening the register too much, without a sale. I then said when she handed me the quarters finally, well it's your machine. And instead of letting it go and that being the final thing said... You guessed it, that would have been too easy. So she responded with.... That is not our machine! Very loud, very argumentive, and very unnecessary. So let me get this straight... Hucks let's another company put their machine on their property.. for free?! No I don't think so. That company that has their air compressor / vacuum cleaner on hucks property... Is paying Huck to rent that spot. So therefore Hucks is making money off of it. So you tell me why is it a big deal to give somebody quarters for a machine that they are renting space to and making money off of it. I'm literally shaking my head the next day, right now, in utter disbelief how employees first reaction is to argue with a customer. I don't care if I'm right or I'm wrong The bottom line is I know Huck's is making money for that machine being there they should have no problem giving quarters for it. I mean she gave me the quarters so why did she even have to say anything about not supposed to be opening The register too much without a cell. Why did she mention that. That's argumentative right off the bat That's terrible customer service skills and it's going to put the customer on defense when they're the ones that are risking losing their money which as it turns out I did lose $0.25. chalk that one up to the machine not being specific about taking quarters only. I just don't understand the lack of customer service nowadays what does it take to get employees to treat customers the way they want to be treated when they walk in to an establishment and they become the customer.
