We just finished a four night stay here! We had an excellent time. Wranglers were patient and kind. Food was amazing! We look forward to coming again in the future. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I were looking for a unique vacation experience and we were not disapointed with our visit to the Tennessee Guest Ranch. My wife has always wanted to own a horse and I had experienced owning horses myself. This was a working ranch experience and we learned a lot about farming and ranching. The meals were all prepared by the staff with most things grown or raised on the ranch. If you have children and want them to experinece what it like to live and work on a ranch with a Christian them this is the place for you.

My fiance and I stayed here in the Autumn/Fall of 2024 and it was great. It was just the two of us for our stay, which was nice, the staff were extremely friendly and made the stay feel like a really special experience from arrival. My partner is a keen rider and we were sceptical because we had done something similar in Australia which was very nose-to-tail riding, however, this was far from that. We rode some beautiful trails, she managed to ride how she imagined. We were on the trails with Chris, who gave us real insight into the area and ranch life.
We were greeted each morning with coffee and breakfast. The food was fresh, and the wranglers told us where our food was from, some mornings we got stuck in and made our own oats and tortillas and there were some great lessons along with it.
All in all, we would recommend the ranch, it was a real highlight of our trip to the States and we would absolutely stay again.

We had a half day riding lesson and learned a lot about horses and riding. Our hosts and guideswere doing an amazing job and you could literally feel the Passion for their animals. I especially loved the trust they put in the guests while riding out on the trails. Wonderful experiance and a great Concept! Thank you so much.

This place is amazing!!!! My niece and I traveled to Tennessee as a place to reconnect. This dude ranch experience went above and beyond what we could have imagined. Katie was our wrangler and a wonderful young woman of God. We were matched with horses that perfectly suited our comfort level. My niece wanted a horse with one foot in the grave and they gave her TC. He is a gaited Tennessee Walker with perfect manners and more whoa than go. She loved him so much she wanted to take him home. I was matched with Dixie, another gaited Tennessee walker, who has just enough sass to give you a great ride. We also milked a cow, cared for chickens, goat, sheep, and a donkey, and were involved with the daily care of our horses. We stayed in one of the little cabins on the premises which had good beds and a cooking area, if you would like to make your own meals. The meals that were provided were very delicious featuring grass fed beef, homemade cheese from the cow we milked, and hand baked bread, as well as delicious vegetable grown right on the property. This place is highly recommended!!!

We spent 4 days here, and as an absolute horse person I can say: the animals are doing well here, we had wonderful rides and my partner (who had never sat on a horse before) everything about horses was explained and shown so well, that on the third day we galloped through the meadows together with our Wrangler. A great experience. And the farm to table food was also gigantic. We were looked after so much and got to talk to so many nice people. Any time!!!

My family spent three days at the ranch and, a wonderful three days it was. A working ranch with caring people to share and teach everything they knew about the care and feeding of the farm animals. They shared stories about how Cowboys lived and worked on the range. How they ate and how they would prepare their meals. We were truly blessed to have such wonderful folks to show us the ropes of care for and feeding the horses. And all this, right here in the middle of Tennessee. Great location, great people, wonderful vacation.

My family and I had a beautiful experience at the Tennesee Dude and Guest ranch! We had never ridden horses before, and we learned so much about a working farm. Our wranglers (Ashley, Brynn, Jared, Tyler, Natalie) and horses were so wonderful and patient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun (and not necessarily easy,...lots of chores!!) and fulfilling vacation.

We did the Farm Stay experience for 5 days... to say the experience was amazing would be the understatement of the century? Everybody there was so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to teach. The ministry they have through their animals is truly beautiful, just like scenic, rolling hills they are nestled in. I can't wait to go back!Rooms: Very comfortableNearby activities: Historic park is home to old coke furnaces in Dunlap.Safety: Quiet, secluded. No traffic to worry about.Food & drinks: Great food. Literally farm to table fresh.Noteworthy details: Not your average get-away. It's up early everyday, doing farm chores, and being responsible for taking care of your horse. Hard work, but incredibly relaxing at the same time. Soul cleansing and inspirational.

I spent 4 wonderful days here with a friend. We were so welcome and it felt very family-like. Everyone is very helpful and friendly with the guests. The ranch is very well maintained and the animals are in optimal condition. Animals and people are treated patiently and lovingly. You get a horse that is right for you and that you look after yourself! The rider is patiently introduced to cleaning, caring for, haltering and saddling and completes test rides in the riding arena before the trail rides. Our Wranglers were excellent! We rode wonderful paths with an incredibly beautiful view! Everything chilled and absolutely stress-free! In over 40 years of riding experience, I have never seen such a patient approach to riders and horses. The food is so delicious and healthy. Campfire, marshmallow - everything included. Hands down one of the best vacations I've had. To include 12 weeks in Europe. The staff are top notch . The homemade food is awesome. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend you visit the ranch. God

Our family was so blessed by our vacation stay at the Tennessee Dude and Guest Ranch. They do so many things before you even arrive to make sure you have an amazing stay. Scenery is beautiful. Our wranglers (Chris, Sarah and Ashley) felt like extended family by week’s end. Loved all the farm to table food experiences. Bible study daily kept us centered too.

Tammy Young and staff had a wonderful event with things for everyone age to enjoy and it's such a blessing that no foul language spoken and they treat everyone like family and very organized I really hope they continue to have family events like today all proceeds go to ministry work and I am guessing the ranch and community

We visited the ranch for a riding experience and had an awesome time. They thought the boys everything they needed to do to get the horses ready to ride, went through a short practice run in the corral to assess their skills and had a ride around the ample and beautiful property. Our ride included forest, grassy areas and riding along the river. After the ride they groomed the horses and let them cool down. We look forward to visiting again with friends.
