We were shopping and the power went out. It was out for quite a while as we found ourselves to the front of the store in the dark. When we finally make it up front by the workers, they rudely say we have to leave because the power is out. They probably just wanted to close early. We saw the line men working after we left, so power would be back on quickly. There is a way to properly address people and ask people to exit for safely, and that wasn't it. They should have checked the store for customers with the flashlights they were holding at the front of the store. Definitely could have been more polite about telling people to leave. I was holding a glass jar in my hand, too, so I needed to find a place to carefully set it down. Plus, you know you always have to worry about stuff in the aisles at the Dollar General, and it's worse in the dark.
