George Canale & Sons Grocery is a pleasant store with a great smell of BBQ that lingers in the air. They offer fresh handmade sandwiches made to order, with the ham, turkey, and cheddar being particularly good. The ham sandwiches are undeniably the best anywhere and the turkey is a favorite. Their deli meats are considered the best on the planet. They also have excellent breakfast biscuits and prepackaged sandwiches. The pies are wonderful, with each kind looking great and tasting better, featuring rich flavor, dense crust, and substantial toppings. The staff is pleasant and trusting. It is always a great stop.
