This bank is the worst bank I have ever done business with. I can't even stress worst enough. They've made me cry twice and I do not cry. They have repeatedly taken money from our accounts and they never admit to it. They have also repeatedly locked out accounts for no reason. They told me they sent my debit card to my old address a month after I asked for it. But then a month after that I recurve two debit cards. I activated one, used it for two weeks, then they cancelled it without even notifieing me causing me to not be able to pay my bills on time . When I contacted them, they said they cancelled it, so I could use the new card. Yet they supposedly sent that one to another address and they never notified me of anything. My husband and I will be chasing banks first thing Monday morning. Further more, I wish the news station would get involved because I think this back is crooked.

Took about 15 minutes to get a cashiers check from my account and this was once I got to the tellers window. Not sure what the issue was but it was frustrating.

Very Very rude people. I would suggest you use a different Truist bank location. Worst service I have ever seen. Tried going in there 3 times. Never again. Need to just fire the guy up front and the lady in the office Then it might get a little better. The little lady working the drive though was the only one working. Everyone else was just playing on the computer letting the line inside just keep growing and looking at Everyone in line very rudely.

Very annoying I can’t speak to anyone on the phone. I tried two branches and the company number. I just want to know if they charge their customers for certified checks! It’s impossible to get help. I guess I will have to waste time and gas to drive to a branch to get an answer to my question.

Amber is VERY rude. She decided to interrupt the teller I was working with in order to get help, Amber decided to make it her business while she had her own customer and Amber decided to assume what I needed, once I explained what I needed the teller I was working with was already handling it. Amber you should take care of your own customer at your desk instead of walking clear across the bank to make my business yours. Thanks Benz for being very helpful and polite.

Suntrust staff are always helpful and friendly. They always go out of their way to help their customers at the East Ridge branch where I bank and any others I have visited. They also are very knowledgeable about finances and building credit and always have time to sit down with you when you need them to.

Very slow service. I went in to have something notarized and waited 30 minutes. The person that is the notary stated to another employee that she is only one person they'll just have to wait. I ended up sitting there my whole lunch break and had to leave to get back to work.

This place is awful. I waited 2 hours to talk to someone!! And you can’t call them or you are going to be on hold for another 2 hours. I don’t know why they merged BBT and suntrust, but that was a horrible move!!

Worst banking experience I've ever had. I am changing banks and would advise everyone to look outside of BB&T/Suntrust now Truist.

Zero help from a banker named Scott who failed to keep a meeting or communicate with me at all about opening an account after our initial visit

I am looking for a new bank, so no direct experience with BBT. But after I reading the reviews, looked at the review histories from those who made the reviews, and finding a common thread in them all, I have crossed out BBT as a bank

The worst bank ever. I’ve been with bbt for a LONG time and they screwed me over so many times when I was a student. Now as an adult, the “assistance” I received was baffling. No one was willing to help. The first day I called, the person who was suppose to help me was at lunch for over 2 hours. After she was not able to help me with an outrageous overdraft fee (I got 3 without physically using my card), she told me she would call me the next day after speaking to her manager. The next day, no one had called me back. So I called to speak to the manager - Ramone in East Ridge, TN and he was also out at lunch despite it being almost 2p. Once he called me back he basically stated I should’ve known and he cannot do anything for me. I haven’t received any fees in a long time and to received $170 worth of fees is outrageous in a span of less than 24 hours. He told me “I shouldn’t have kept using my card”. How would I keep using my card if I had the first overdraft fee?! I am cancelling my account and going to a better bank that actually appreciates its customers. BBT has a long was to go!!

Friendly staff, convenient location & I love that they have 3 drive thrus plus the drive thru atm. Most of the time you dont have to wait in line at all, atm is always working properly & easy to use!Only down sides I have seen is the drive thru lanes are a bit small, you really have to squeeze to fit a car in each of the lanes, which not everyone does. Also it can be hard to exit out on to the main road sometimes because it is in between 2 busy red lights on a busy road.
