THE GOOD:I have rented from them several times before. Prices were mostly good, cars always nice, clean, etc. I have sometimes got an upgrade for free on the day of pick up just because of availability, which was great. For this, they get 4 stars. Not quite 5, but 4, yes.THE BAD:However, recently when our area had a round of bad weather my SUV had to go in the shop unexpectedly (from an issue I had put off for months and it finally "Said" No More! LOL ) and I needed to rent a car for a few days...THE UGLY:Enterprise was CLOSED, because of said weather!? Really?! Wonder how many other people needed a car - because of the weather?? Well, I had trouble trying to work something out with their Customer Service line. I found it confusing as hell and frustrating. I ended up making other plans. So, for this, I give them ZERO Stars. That's all.

I had to get a rental vehicle due to a deer running into my vehicle. Enterprise in Elizabethton Tennessee worked with myself and my insurance company to get me into a rental vehicle that I requested. There was no time wasted, I went over to get the rental and the young man was extremely professional and helpful and friendly. Upon returning the vehicle, another young man was just as friendly and professional. I highly recommend Enterprise in Elizabethton Tennessee for any car rental needs.

OMG steer clear of Enterprise. Been renting cars since 1984. Never had as many issues all together, than I've had with this one rental. BLUF, they blamed me for making my reservation via the 800 line instead of online. It was supposed to be a government rental, so I couldn't do it online.So it was all messed up, but all Enterprise said was that the 800 line is a3rd party contractor and not them. I could not make them understand that it was still Enterprise. I ended up getting charged about $100 more for a 3 day rental than what I was contracted because despite several changes to the pick up and drop off times, it stayed messed up. Again, they just blamed me and the contractor. After YEARS of using mainly Enterprise, I'm now a HERTZ customer...I highly recommend re-evaluating using Enterprise and decide for yourself. As for me, not again, even if they had the last car, I'd be better off walking than dealing with these unsavory folks. The mafia would be more honest and ethical. Thanks for absolutely nothing, Enterprise! HERTZ, expect my call!

According to the representative at the branch you must have an in state driver's license to rent a vehicle or you'll have to use a credit card for the deposit.The confirmation E-mail states you should have an in state license or be located within 50 miles of the location you are renting from however it states that the following forms of payment are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Network, Debit Card. Nowhere does it say you need a credit card. It specifically says Debit Card.On top of that we placed this reservation online four days ago. The vehicle we reserved was not at the location at the pickup time we scheduled. We reserved this through Enterprise's website. At no point after we put in our information, which listed an out of state license, did it say we would be required to use a credit card. Crazy. This was only brought up to us at the location as we're picking up the vehicle. Which wasn't even there to be picked up. Thanks Enterprise. Now we're going to be late for a wedding.The Branch manager says she called the night before to check in with us. That would have been helpful when we placed the reservation four days ago though as there wouldn't have been anything we could do the night before with these current rules.Very disappointed with the way this went down. Will not be using Enterprise again in the future if I can help it. I am a permanent detractor of this company.

The team at the Elizabethon, TN, location are great to work with and make me feel appreciated as a regular renter. The customer serve is great and everyone there has a can-do attitude.

First off, the young driver rental charge is totally b.s. and it brought my rental cost to almost $100 a day... Second, they charged me for fuel when the car I picked up was totally empty when I got it the fuel light came on within 10 minutes of me leaving the pickup place so I returned it with almost a bit more than 1/4 tank and then they charged me $70 for fuel when gas is $2.88 with a ten gallon tank.

My daughter had an accident and her insurance required to use Enterprise for a rental. She contacted the Elizabethton office and was told they had a car and would be there until 5:00 PM. She arrived around 4:45 (after driving 45 minutes) and was told the car was rented to someone else. No justification was given, other than the other person wanted a car and was there first. Terrible service and truly irresponsible behavior.

These folks are friendly, professional, and go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. "Q" the manager, facilitated fixing an issue I had, and upgraded my vehicle. His professionalism and kindness were greatly appreciated!
