“Hey everyone I just wanted to share my experience with D.D. I am the President of a construction company in Ohio. I came down to Tenn a few weeks ago after I purchased a used 2019 F550 bucket truck. Long story short is I had another shop prior to me coming replace all 6 tires and do a full service and inspection. Oil change and fuel filter change was part of the service. Paid that shop $3500 for the work. Drove the 9 hours trip to get the truck everything looked good we got about 20 miles down the road on the interstate and the fuel line blew off. The shop that did the work was absolutely no help and they preceded to tell me that it was to big of a job that I should find someone else. So I was stranded 9 hrs from home on the highway at 4pm I researched for Diesel repair shops and Downtown Diesel popped up and they were also right across from the other shop. I call them explained what was happening and had the truck towed over. They worked thier butt of trying to get the replacement parts from Ford on a Sat morning. They finally located the part at a dealership an hour north. I picked the part up since I was closet and brought it to them. I got there around 2:50pm these guys had a full shop no bays open and worked on mine knowing the situation i was in. The mechanic worked outside on a stone parking lot for 3 hrs on cardboard. Had to drop the PTO and maybe the transmission can't remember to replace these fuel lines. They worked and hour pass closing on a Sat (Which no one's does these days) to get me and my man headed back home. I can't thank Downtown Diesel enough your team you have is amazing and we need more small businesses like you around.

“We are new to this area. We decided to go to Father and Son auto to give them a try. They were great people and very affordable. They found a few things wrong that we didn’t realize were. He didn’t charge us to fix one part he caught. It could have blown our engine up. Very reasonable muffler and small oil repair pricing. He was not out to do us wrong or overcharge. An everyday average guy. He even waited til we got there to get us the car before he left. It was about 1h30m after closing. I would have given a 5, but he was a little forgetful in getting back to me. (Not the worse thing in the world, but I had to make a couple of reminder calls) If I could have given a 4.7 I would have. “I went in there thought I needed an alignment, after a quick inspection from a mechanic they noticed the tie rod was bad. I had them change the inner and outer tie rod on one side after taxes it was around $298. Car drives like new but it was my first time there If I need more work I'll go back I would recommend them although they seem very busy which is probably a good day everybody wants to use them He got me in and out the same day and got there at 10:00 a.m. and the car was done around 2:00 p.m.. no complaints”

We had to fine a Garage to be towed too,to get it fixed,call the Garage to see if they could repair it. He said he was closing early, so he went to the auto parts and bought a fan belt and came to where we were at and put it on the van and said just to send him a check in the mail for the price of the fan belt,I told my husband God sent us a angel. “I appreciate L&M for their honesty and fast work. I had an oil change done at a drive thru service and then my Jeep started over heating. I called L&M and they got me in right away. They could have charged me thousands and replaced thermostats and water pump but they didn't. Instead they figured out there was air in my radiator from the fluids being checked while they were too hot. They took care of the problem and only charged me the hourly fee. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Great work L&M ?”

“If I could rate more stars I would! I was traveling to Knoxville for a family event when my car started acting crazy. I stopped in the closest town and got a diagnostic report, but needed immediate service for my car (Volvo). It was mid day on Saturday. I called and Mr. Camacho, agreed to look at the car. He assessed the problem, called for parts (had to drive to Knoxville), Drove me and my sisters to my family member's home, an hour away and then went back and fixed my car, then waited until I could return 7pm. I can't say enough about the service and attention we received. He explained everything to me and even showed me the bad parts. I don't usually have to deal with these issues, but I am so glad that I came across this honest business! I highly recommend!”

“Traveling in our C-class 31' RV and towing a car we encountered a tire problem. The driver side front steer tire looked misshapen, seemed to be running hot and causing a pull while driving. It was the strangest thing and I have never seen a tire look like this before - almost like the center tread was crowned all the way around. Like a donut. Worried as we were running I75 in the mountains I quickly looked up nearby tire services and found C&D in Athens GA.
Cheyanne answered the phone and did our service write up. Brandon did the tire change and DJ oversaw the work. All employees were kind and helpful. They suspected that one or some of the center belts/cords that hold the tire together had failed. They did not have the exact Hankook tire but offered a comparable Firestone and Michelin. We went for the firestone and they were able to replace the tire rather quickly. Price was a nice surprise as it was very reasonable! We hope we don't have to stop in again but were certainly glad C&D tire was there for us when we needed them.”
